Great friendly service! I love that I can use my debit card with proof of return flight without having to pay a security deposit or go through a credit check!! Will use Alamo every time I fly in to Buffalo!

I received an email to rate my experience with Alamo. They asked for it...



I tried making a reservation online. For whatever reason, my credit card was being viewed by the company as a debit card -- therefore I could not make a reservation online. I called the 800 number to make a reservation, and the lady that I spoke with said that she would put in a reservation for me at my specified airport, and all I needed to do was give them my name and my credit card at the desk, and I'd be all set.



Fast forward 2 days. I went to pick up my rental, and they had no record of a reservation. The desk recommended I contact the 800 number. They too, had no record of a reservation for me. They said that they could put one in for me, but the price was 62% higher than what I had "supposedly reserved" just 2 days before. They said that they could not give me any discount to help out with the botched reservation. I had a printout of the webpage with my original price, but they didn't care, and said that they couldn't do anything about it.



Not only did I lose time in travel, but I was being charged an outrageous fee hike for an error that wasn't on my end.



I will not rent from Alamo again. Customer service apparently isn't a high priority for them.
