Call before you go, find out if your movie is showing on the damaged screen. They have a screen with what looks like blue digital dots that look like paint splatter taking up a 3rd of the center screen. They offer a full refund if you cannot sit thru it. However, they still show on that screen AND charge full price like a properly functioning screen. I wasted time and gasoline driving there. Contacted the owner but never heard back from him.
My favorite place for dinner and a movie! Great date place. The food is really good (not typical bar food at dine in movies).
I enjoyed the beauty of the building. There was a huge amount of seating which was comfortable. The popcorn was great.
You can't ask for a better place to catch a movie. Actually you could but they seemed to have thought of it already and now offers a VIP movie experience. Adults only with food and alcohol service. I can't wait to go back and take advantage of that. Overall the theater is clean, the staff friendly & nice and they will validate your parking ticket for you. It's a win win situation going to the movies here.
I love the VIP experience area. The seats are comfortable and along with having a bar it makes for an enjoyable movie experience. The only downside is the food and beverage service takes a long time and they're a bit pricey but it's too be expected
I don’t get the chance to go here often, but when I do I really enjoy myself. CineBistro is great. The food is just alright, the drinks are okay and the experience is even better. There’s lots of space and room for legs to stretch out and the seats are relaxing. I do wish the movie selection was better. They also take a while to order you get ready to start the movie. Occasionally, they are still bringing in food as the movie begins and I’d rather have mine before it starts. Sometimes they just don’t offer the films that I want to see. Additionally, the price point is a bit expensive in comparison to a regular movie visit so this place is only for date night or rare girls night. I’ll go back but will definitely eat before hand and just have a drink.
The seats at this movie theater are sent from heaven. One of the most comfortable movie theaters I've ever been to.
Slow service (check), expensive admission (check), unclean tables & flimsy office chairs for seating (check), high calorie, expensive, and frozen foods (check), loud audience talking over the majority of the movie without consequences (check). I have never been so uncomfortable in a movie theater, a considerable amount of time was excruciating. I'll not return, not for a free preview and especially not for date night.
Fox Theatre is not only overflowing with history, but an exceptionally beautiful venue. It is by far our favorite indoor venue ever. There are no bad seats, the acoustics are wonderful and the "stars" in the sky are rather amazing.
I love Village Theater! It is one of the smaller and more intimate comedy theaters in Atlanta, but that's what makes it so great. Awesome comedians (there are a few regulars that are my favorites) and normally a great crowd. It's an improv theater, and they also teach improv classes that anyone can sign up for. You can purchase beer/wine and some snacks in the lobby before the show and at intermission - the alcohol is pretty cheaps, so load up! You can also purchase whole bottles and share with your group which is nice. Easy, free parking behind the theater as well!
