I ended up eating dinner here twice after sampling the competition down the road. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive, and the food was basic but prepared well. I had the salmon special the first time and the sirloin steak the second. Both were cooked as ordered and tasty. The salad bar didn't have too many condiments but the lettuce was crisp. I thought the onion soup was quite good. I was also satisfied with the warm brownie with ice cream dessert. The window seats have nice views of the distant mountains and surrounding plains. Checkout is done at the register so you can leave anytime you want and don't have to wait for your credit card to be taken and returned. BTW prices were close to half of those at the Bryce Canyon Lodge.

Price is a bit steep, but may be because of proximity of major tourist attraction. Rooms are old, but clean. Free Internet, large fridge and restaurant promises to be good. Will try tomorrow.
We stayed at three places while visiting Utah national parks, and this was the best. It was also the lowest priced one. The people were very nice and accomodating. Our unit was very roomy. We had a squeaky bed, and the man tried very hard to fix it. It was better, but when he couldn't get it fully fixed, he offered to give us a partial credit. There's no ice machine, but when we needed ice, we got a very large supply. Decent restaurant right there. Nice accomodating people.
Fosters was the only place that came across our radar. It was not far from the National Park, had a diner type atmosphere, looks like it used to be a Denny's. The view out the window was beautiful, and a hummingbird hovered nearby. Joke books on each table kept us entertained. The dinner was good, my husband really enjoyed his French Dip, but the Fosters Berry Pie with ice cream was delicious and not to be skipped.
Nice people at the counter. Prompt wait service. Baked potato done right. Potato salad tasted homemade. And pretty good pie and ice cream for dessert.
This hotel is not the Four Seasons but a great value for someone who wants a package deal. My family and I rode in on atv's after a long day of riding. We were able to rest in a clean room and have a great dinner, breakfast was included as well. For the money and what we needed, it was perfect.
Good omen. Saw a herd of pronghorn antelope on the drive over. Kind of set the tone for things to come. Had a cowboy steak, probably the freshest beef I have had in a decade. Threw down the berry pie. Listened to country music overhead. Drove back to thousand stars. Yep, it was that good. More like magic.
Prime Rib with baked potato ....very yummy. You MUST save room for their pie it was fabulous! I had the blueberry warmed up and it was the best I have had. We also did breakfast one morning and it was also good. If you're in the area stop by!
The trout was really good.. This place is no better or worse than anything else we've tried in the area. I think when we come back we'll stick with things like burgers and sandwiches. We saw a French-Dip sandwich and it looked so good! The salad bar was a bit slim, but at least they had good lettuce and not just iceberg.
The food here was pretty good, considering we were located in the middle of nowhere. I'd recommend the French-dip sandwich and the garlic bread with mushrooms. Solid.
