Southern Careers Institute (SCI) provides career training opportunities to Texans interested in pursuing their career goals. SCI has seven technical and trade school campuses, conveniently located in Austin, Brownsville, Corpus Christi, Harlingen, Pharr, San Antonio (North Campus), San Antonio (South Campus), and Online. SCI's mission is to ensure the long-term success of our students by delivering employer-tailored programs that result in an increasing demand for Southern Careers Institute graduates. Southern Careers Institute was founded in 1960. SCI has offered medical and business programs since 1992. In 1994, the pharmacy technician program was introduced. Today, SCI offers a variety of programs in the fields of medical, pharmacy, business, technology, and skilled trades such as Automotive, HVAC and Welding. Programs vary by campus. SCI provides the training a student needs for entry-level employment in their chosen field of study.
