This restaurant doesn't even deserve a 1 star.Me and my wife entered this restaurant hoping to have a wonderful experience but as soon as we were seated no server came to our table for about 15 minutes and had to wave down one of the staff. The guy who came up to us appeared unenthusiastic about coming to our table and even said that he was not the server but will take our order for our drinks and our server will take our food order. So we did order our drinks and it arrived about 5-10 minutes afterwards. 15 minutes passed and still no server came to our table to take our food order so I had to hail down one of the staff and requested for our server. Same guy who took our drinks took our order and this time with like an irritated look on his face as he said he wasn't supposed to be our server but gave us the food menu anyway with no apologies for what has happened so far and didn't seem to care. Another 5 minutes passed and finally this same guy took our order and at that time I was already so dismayed by this restaurant's unprofessional staff. As soon as our order arrived I asked for the tab and paid for the drinks and the food. And without even touching the food me and my wife took off due to the kind of unprofessional behavior on the part of the staff in this restaurant. Worse experience ever for what they claim to be fine dining. It's just a poor excuse for a restaurant. Really bad experience with Toscafino. Never again will I go to this place.

I love the food served here. They have daily specials. The service is good and the food worth waiting for. Their hamburgers are out of this world. My son wants them all the time. We eat there at least once a week. Of course I try to avoid peak hours in the morning and later in the day since at times the place gets swamped with people. Tip well please.
Well first of all this is for the new location in Harlingen Texas.I didn't like the fact that one of the servers kept on "chewing gum" in a restaurant that is a NoNo ! Second we had the manager as a waitress her name was Lety. She should have been managing not waitressing. The chips were too greasy but understandable. The restrooms were very clean. The food was great and fast.
Went there for specifically for cabrito. It was excellent. Tender, succulent and super tasty. Other people at our table ordered fajitas, flautas, chilled relleno and everyone was raving. Great hot sauce. Perfect for me, but if you don't like your sauce too spicy, they will make you a Ranchero sauce. Prices were on very reasonable. Service was prompt and very courteous. Will definitely be back. They could use a little background music.
Worst service I've received at a restaurant in a long time. Waited for order (eggs, bacon, sausage) for 50 minutes then left. Wait staff said there was a large party and all orders were taking 45 minutes to an hour, that would have been nice to know when ordering. The large group was not in the restaurant and had apparently placed the order before arriving. One hour for a breakfast meal is ridiculous...first and last time we will go to this place.
Super bad serv. Since the moment we arrived waitress couldnt get our drinks right, our beans were cold and out of the 7 order we placed only 1 was correct. When it came time to pay they didnt even have the courtesy to apologize or discount our tab. Worse part being that the owners were aware of the whole situation. Never again will i visit this location my son was grossed out with all the fat in the meat.
this place should really consider changing their name because I've been there 4 days this past week and they never have tortillas plus the service is terrible. It's like if it bothers them when you stop by and the store stinks. It smells like if there is a decomposing body in the back. I almost threw up. Will not be buying from them EVER!
Fun patio bar by the water, great summer night breeze, pretty good live blues band...what's not to like? Not prissy gourmet, but a fun Sunday night!
Best tacos, tostadas, and flautas! The beans are to die for and don't forget the fresh lemonade! This place is a must!
