Overall

I purchased two firearms from them, and I would have to say that this was one of the most pleasant purchasing experiences I've had. I highly recommend them!

Overall

I have been there many times and purchased several firearms from there. Some have been at a real good price. I have always been treated fairly and with respect. I like the place. They have a good selection of previous owned guns. Good variety.

Thought it would be a good mom and pop place to go for selling weapons. Totally a terrible place to go. Unprofessional country bumpkin lackeys. They actually made fun of my questions. They are idiots selling out of a closet that gave me 100.00 less then other dealers. Not recommended. Stay away from this store.

Good for the expert, bad for the novice

Premier Arms has a large selection, some good deals if you look for them, and an unscrupulous owner.

On first impression, Premier Arms looks like it's being run out of a barn by right wing militants, but that's probably just playing to the base. In reality it's well stocked with ammo, firearms, and accessories. The only thing they don't carry much of is reloading supplies, but there were a lot of bulk 45s when I was last there for cheap.
The QUALITY of their weapons is hit or miss, as are the prices. Rifle and shotgun-wise I did not see many items that I couldn't get cheaper and better cared for elsewhere, but pistol-wise their rates seemed reasonable, and their used selection had bargains.
What should give you pause is the owner who will say anything to make a sale. If you don't know your guns, stay away. Or bring someone who does and research heavily before you buy. He is a Glock distributor and he pushes them hard, often maligning other weapons unfairly as a result. He often won't disclose a problem in advance so check those pieces first. You can't even ask him basic ammunition questions as the answer will inevitably be 'It won't work, buy this from me instead'. Even by unscrupulous gun dealer standards this guy's blatant lies stand out.

Even so, Premier Arms is one of the better stores in the area, and is worth a visit if you're cruising stores and know what you are doing. Just exercise caution when buying.
