Flatirons Habitat for Humanity is a locally run affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization. Habitat for Humanity works in partnership with people in need to build and renovate decent, affordable housing. The houses then are sold to those in need at no profit and with no interest charged.
The Flatirons affiliate was founded in July of 1993 and serves the area of the Boulder Valley School District and all of Broomfield, Niwot, and Erie. Our affiliate has built more than 25 homes in partnership with local families in need of housing. Currently we are building 4 homes in partnership with Wild Sage Co-housing in north Boulder and fourteen homes at Emerald Hill in Broomfield.
