Provided by CitysearchThis place has excellent beer and barbecue sandwiches. Oh, and I love the garlic fries! I go here with my girlfriend as often as we can go. It just has a good atmosphere and it's right by the mall and a movie theater, so it's a good time.

Provided by CitysearchI've eaten here several times since the place opened and I'm a huge fan of their garlic fries and their drinks. However, every time I've actually ordered food, it's been below acceptable. I had a chicken salad once where the chicken tasted like cardboard as if it sat under a heat lamp all day. I was there a week ago and we could see our food sitting under the heat lamp as our waiter ignored us and our waiting food. By the time we finally got our food, some of it was cold, some of it was ruined from the heat lamp (it's murder on ravioli) and my potatoes were bland because they forgot the sauce. There was something wrong with every plate brought to the table. I recommend you only swing by here to sit in the bar, share a plate of garlic fries with a friend and have a martini. Don't bother with the rest.

Provided by CitysearchMy husband and I love microbreweries but found them really pricey and impersonal in this part of Colorado.
Once we went here we knew we didn't need to go anywhere else. My husband is a fussy Brazilian who knows a good burger and brew. He feel in love with the place right away. Interior is nice dark woods and low lights. Could be a sports bar pickup joint if you were single. Age range 25-35. Healthy sides like delicious garlic potatoes and garlic spinach. Nice place to sit outside and people watch.

Provided by CitysearchI was immediately welcomed when I stepped foot in Gordon Bierch. Prompt service ensued after I was seated. My date and I were offered five samples of their in-house brewed beer, all of which tasted excellent. I ordered their seasonal beer with a steak, and they complimented each other wonderfully. My date got a semi-spicy pasta dish with sausage, shrimp, and chicken which was also great. This was the best meal I've had out in a long time. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a unique and delicious dining experience.

Provided by CitysearchGordon Bierch has the start of a great restaurant - they serve the best brewpub beer in the Denver Area (counting 3 in Boulder 2 in Aspen 2 in Broomfield and 4 in downtown Denver) as well as the most varied menu. They offer the best appitizers and happy hour around and is a great place to take friends and business associates for lunch. HOWEVER - management is bad in the evenings - as they have a bar, people are getting drunk and causing problems and they let it go - creating an atmosphere that you wouldn't want to share with a friend or date. Hopefully this is something they will fix, as this could be a hot spot one day if they can settle it down.......

Provided by CitysearchGordon Biersch is a restaurant/brewer that knows how to do it right. I'm typically not impressed by ""upscale"" brewpubs, but Gordon Biersch offers great brew (especially the Marzen - sorry, no umlauts!), and tasty food lovingly prepared and in substantial portions. My favorites run to the seared ahi (love it wherever I can get it), and Gordon Biersch's incredible meatloaf (Believe it - this is the food of the gods!), but anything on the menu is worth a go, especially steaks.
