I am a guy first of all and I point that out only because places like this are usually more for women. That being said, I checked the place out for their tanning beds and not only are their prices better than the big chains but the staff are some of the nicest people I have ever met. I have been going there for over a year now and the owner and staff has not changed. In a high employee turnover business like this, that is rare but employees never have a negative word to say about anything or anyone so who would want to leave? My girlfriend loves it here too. Highly recommended.
Nothing but talking about people behind their backs... just a bunch of trouble makers trying to get over on people.
Ive been to many salons in the area and none have come close to the job this salon and stylist did. Thank you Holly for my perfect blonde hair!
Busy, modern, salon with well trained and friendly staff. Easy to make appointments with online booking.
Sneaky, sneaky. Went in for a 1/2 inch trim on a blunt cut. Total cut time was 1 and 1/2 minutes, dried my hair, no frills, was out in 10 minutes which was fine. That's all I wanted. Their site specifically states a women's cut and style is $32. Mind you, I didn't even get a "style" because I didn't want one. She tells me $32, I hand her my card, tell her to add $10 for the tip and she tells me I'll get my receipt e mailed to me. When I checked my receipt a few days later via e mail, in the price section the $32 has a line through it with the word "override" in red written next to it with a new price of $40 (before tip, bringing my total to $50). She LIED about the price to me, knowing I wouldn't see it until I left and checked my e mails and then she manually overrode it to add $8. Some nerve. No wonder this place is ALWAYS empty. Well, I hope the $8 she STOLE was worth it, because it cost them 3 customers- myself, my little girl and my mom. 3 customers gone because they're a bunch of sneaks. Lying and stealing in the service industry (in business as a whole, really) is disgusting and word will spread around this town and they'll be a thing of the past sooner rather than later. Salons are a dime a dozen around here and I can spend $50 or even $32 for someone to cut my hair who isn't a 19 year old newbie at any one of them.
Been going here for over a year, tried a different stylist who did not listen to what I wanted. Now my hair looks terrible and has brought my self esteem deeply down. I will never return.
One of the best place in Brooksville for good food, very charming and simple. Worth the stop if you pass in Brooksville for food or refreshment drinks.
Beautiful new salon! Excellent location!! Staff are well trained and friendly. Convenient online booking as well.
The only disappointing experience was the difficulty arranging treatments as the have very limited hours and certain services are only available one to two days a week. Great location, beautiful accommodations and facility. Prices are on the higher side for this area but willing to splurge if only more convenient.
Had a spa day a few years ago and it was wonderful. Hair cut etc. etc. Went back and saw Kara for color- simply disgusted with the results. She didn't listen to my request, she did as she wanted and I'll have to pay good money to get this the way I want it - ELSEWHERE! The highlights are not to the root and there are spots in the very front where you can see a blob had just sat - the low lights - well hell you can't see them! We spoke long enough for her to know - what I needed, she simply didn't listen. Go for your massage and skin treatments, your cut, your nails - But if you want color insist on someone experienced.
