Don't get tricked! Many of their apartments are beautiful, but whenever there is an issue, they are unprofessional, unapologetic, and completely rude. We moved into an apartment with paint on the floor and cockroaches in the fridge. It took them weeks to get them to clean it up, and they never once apologized. We've only had showers that only go scalding hot, a broken dishwasher, heat that doesn't come on, and a theft because the company didn't change the locks. Not a single time did they ever utter the words "sorry" or "we understand." Instead, they blamed us, accused us, suspected us of foul play. Of course things unforeseen happen in apartment buildings--dishwashers break, heat doesn't go on, etc.--but despite our cordial calls, they remained completely lacking in empathy. They do not care at all about their tenants and you will find yourself in ugly battles. Do not rent from them.

We purchased a Manhattan apartment listed by Joanne Gay. We saw the listing on Streeteasy and contacted Joanne for a showing. We came in from Long Island for that showing. and she didn't show up or call, just gave a flimsy excuse afterward about difficulty getting in from Brooklyn. We were all cash buyers with no buyers agent, a dream for any listing agent! We bought the place in the end but Joanne made the whole process very difficult. She even showed up AN HOUR LATE to the closing claiming traffic problems, we all had to wait for her. Our transaction is listed on her website as "closed for all cash within a week," yeah but no thanks to her.
Same as the person before me except its the year 2017. Our heat hasnt been on for MONTHS and we are finally moving out. Wish I saw this review a year ago.
Horrible owner(s) the type of people who don't contribute jack to society (taxes). You would think they treat the people making them rich with much more appreciation and or at least a bit of respect. By the way no I won't pull an OJ and play the race card like others do because even the senior citizens from their same culture constantly agree that they are living in bad conditions the typical daily - weekly neighborly conversations consist of each others complaints funny lol but sadly true sometimes it's like a competition "oh your ceilings falling off?" "Well mine already fell!" Lol SMH! The laundry room looks like a torture room out of a movie scene (no lie I can't make this stuff up) the finally recently installed elevator just looks shiny but mechanically runs like crap I have videos of how the elevator shakes everytime it approaches and arrives at the top floor. Plus dozens and dozens... and dozens of photos of the comical "repairs"! The buildings "repairs" are something out of a Diy textbook and to top it all off apparently they make the 100 worst landords list for N.Y. every year this year they are at number 28! SMH at least their good at accomplishing something because managing a residential building in which 60+ families consider home they fail terribly at handling that responsibility. Pictures below.

ekI rent apartment 1060 Ocean Ave, Bk from Samjo Reality Corp $ 1700 one yr later they are telling me to pay over $2000. What happen two years later? What they are doing they let you to come in cheap prices then they increased your rants way way higher so you can’t say no because you pay for brokers one month rent application fee and moving costs. They’re play the games. It’s scams.Now I have to get a lawyer, it’s very sad. I need people speck up.
Don't signed any lease unless the apartment are liveable and nothing need to be fixed, because after a month moved in there's still things that needs to be fixed, there's holes in the floor, no heat, appliances as promise we're not put in placed and still waiting get all there's things done, bear in mind that the roof is just a pie e of ply on it
Horrible owners. They're rude to everyone that either works for them in their office or real estate agents out of the office. They never pay you on time. Constantly yell at you and make your their personal assistant. The owners Yona Cohen and Shlomi Cohen are mean people. Trust me. I've been with them for only 2 months I had to quit. They will make you feel less than and talk to you any way they feel and will not pay you until they're ready. They do not have direct deposit they have quick pay so when they feel like paying you is when you'll get Your money not to mention they will have cameras on you spying to make sure you're working like a dog with out a lunch break !
Without a doubt, Harry Frenkel (the broker associated with this building) was the most unprofessional broker I've ever worked with. After my application for one of his units was approved, he refused to meet, and put off our lease signing until finally we had to postpone move in, because he hadn't gotten us any paperwork. Still, he promised us the apartment, until two days before we were supposed to move in. Then he told us we had to wait another two weeks and said the reason was because he didn't want to deal with the pressure. Then he disappeared on us altogether. In my opinion, not the most adult way to handle things. PLEASE avoid this company-if it is even a legitimate company.
Don't care about tenants . Building is not clean. Super don't care about anything. Management doesn't answer calls
