No English,They do not answer phones .I lost my card there and there was nobody to tell me if they saw it or not.
Very unprofessional stuff. Manager is very rude , doesn't care about customers. Don't waist your time going there.
The owner is terrible. My mom and I went in to get coffee so we dont have to wait underneath the rain for car service. After we paid he told us we can't wait in here and he's closing which was a lie because he didn't close after 20 minutes. He was rude and disrespectful and on top everything Im in a leg cast. When I asked him for napkins he said he didn't have any nor did he have change for 20$. What kind of grocery doesn't have change for $20?Overall hes super disrespectful and rude. I'm never going in there again, not even for a bottle of water
My husband and I go here all the time together, and also my mom and aunt go on their own. We all have been going here for about over 15-20 years now!!!! Best place to get everything we need and we also love that a lot of things are in bulks!! Every time we go, We all stack up on 3-5 carriages worth of stuff that we purchase!!!!! Even though in less then a month, we still have enough things left over, we still go back like about every 3-4 weeks, to stack up a lot again, so we always have what we need in our home. Plus a lot extra!My husbands side of the family goes here too and also stack up.We all love Costco! And good prices too!!
This is my go-to place in the neighborhood for fresh seafood, always fresh, always tastes amazing. The also have a good fruits and vegetables selection. Reasonable prices and good food.
There was a time that I enjoyed patronizing this store but lately I have found the individuals in the store to treat everyone in the neighborhood like they are Crack Heads, they show no respect for their customers.
Poor Customer Service. I have been a customer of this store for over 27 years and have seen the turnover. The new-owner needs to know that Customer Relations is important for good business. Not only does he treat his customers in a demeaning manner but also his workers. The gentlemen behind the deli display their abuse at times in the manner in which they take care and service their customers. The co-owner is very provoking in his mannerism which now I understand why there are some individuals who are not allowed in the store. Money spent in the store whether it's coins or dollars helps him to migrate his family to the USA. Never do a store owner tell a customer he doesn't need their money because of his error. "10% of conflicts are due to difference of opinion, 90% are due to wrong tone of voice. It's ok to make a mistake, acknowledge it and move forward. Belittling the customer or the worker is a reflection of your character. There are to many stores in ENY where people can spend their money rather than this overpriced Corner Store. Treat people with respect. Review coming from 50+ year old Woman!!!
This is the same address, and same business, with a new business name.Their new name is Thanksgiving SupermarketNasty people, food is so-so, but their attitude is unacceptable. They need more people-skills dealing with American customers. I give them under one-star. I don't need to be insulted when I pay them for my shopping, at the check-out counter.They accused me of stealing a small piece of ginger-root (62 cents worth) after I've been shopping there for nearly one year, purchasing almost $50 of food each week.It must have fallen out of the checkout basket when putting it on the checkout counter, unknown to me, and fell into the front basket part of my shopping chart.When I walked out I saw it, and thought it fell out of my shopping bags when I put them into my wagon, so I put it into my bags.The manager runs out, after me, and accuses me of stealing it, I offer to pay for it, but she demands $500 from me for theft. She's making herself the judge and jury instead of checking their cameras, to see it was simply an innocent mistake.After I yell at her, saying I come here weekly spending almost $50 each time, and don't need to steal a 62 cent piece of Ginger-root, she then says just pay her $20.Hey lady, this is America, and you must prove I had intended to steal it. I truly swear, to all reading this, it was not my intention to take it, and thought it was paid for.What if my shopping wagon didn't have that front piece of cart to 'catch' the ginger when it fell.It would have landed on the floor of their store, with people stepping on it.I bet they'd place it back on their shelf to sell.I wonder how many people were intimidated by this manager, and actually paid her $500, or even $20.I didn't pay her anything, and when I said I'm calling a news crew, and starting a law-suit, for slander, she said I can leave.They need more work on their people skills.You don't insult a steady customer over a 62 cent piece of anything.OR- at least check your cameras, you'd see I had it in my checkout basket all during the shopping time I was walking around. I wasn't trying to run-off with free ginger-root... lady...!Needless to say, I don't feel comfortable shopping there any longer.I can't trust THEM now, to NOT place something I didn't choose, into my wagon, just to 'set-me-up' to make them look good, so they can accuse me of theft.Outrageous...! ... I . DON'T . STEAL .I pay for everything I shop for, EVERYWHERE..!
