The staff is the worst, so rude! And only because I had the nerve to ask why I am waiting more than 2 hours in the waiting room

Stay away from this office at all costs. The staff is not trained, told us we have no insurance; they were trying to bill a 4 year old policy when we had given them an updated one and had been there three times in the past 6 months. The operation is completely about money; over booking so that you have to wait a minimum of three hours after your appointment time to see the doctor. They lost our chart, claimed it was NYU"s fault, then the IT team, then we found out that they were not looking for the right name. "Kada" is supposed to be the office manager but won't face you or answer the phone. And to top it all off, the staff is plain RUDE. Avoid this office at all costs. It may even cost you your eyes!
He is an amazing doctor. My grandparents have been going here for years and they are absolutely in love with him. He always takes his time with them and treats them like they are his family. I have never met such a sweet doctor. He really knows his stuff. His staff is great, too. They really know how to make a patient feel comfortable. I am going to get my LASIK done with him in January and I cannot wait! My friend got it done and he actually sees 20/10. A year ago he saw 20/400. If you are looking for an eye doctor. This is the guy to go to.
By far the worst medical experience I've ever had. The receptionist is so rude. The dr is even worse! Stay far away!!!! Doesn't even deserve one star!
This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. Nasty people, very long wait.
Total B.S. in every sense of the word. Avoid at all costs. Nasty staff, negligent greedy optometrist and nothing good. I will never, ever go there again
I've been going to Brooklyn Eye Surgery Center as I was suffering from cataracts. I was then thoroughly treated for diabetes in the eyes. I am so happy I came here as Dr. Schlecter, a retinal specialist, is highly professional and saved my eyesight as he said if it was a year later I would have been blind. I am so happy every time I go there as he is so nice and his staff is very pleasant. He is very honest and I love the through and detailed exams and treatment.
billing dept sucks , dr pan ripoff artist
