Great place for Downstate students to park. The lot is across the street from the building, clean, and safe! Knowing you have a reserved spot is comforting since parking on the street is difficult. It is also the only lot near Downstate that allows for overnight parking at the cheapest rate
I have been parking at esp parking for 4 months in both the monthly and daily lots! I have the comfort of knowing my car is in a great safe place and it is a really great price! I can wake up late and still make it on time to my class because parking is simple and easy - i just pull up into a spot that is waiting for me!
try it, I am sure you will like it as much as I do.

Horrible service!!! During my first 3rd year rotations, before I knew about the discounted parking for students on rotations, I parked in this place all the time. Every morning everyone I saw that parks at that time including myself are given +10 minute step by step instructions on how to park the car by the only guy that works there in the mornings. If you try to avoid him or tell him to stop he turns red and blocks your way until you do what he says. That little ordeal made me late to class/ rotations more than twice. Then today (since I'm not in a rotation because I am studying for step 2) I had to park at ESP because had a meeting at 1:00pm and, as usual, I couldn't find any street parking. I got to the lot 10 minutes prior to my appointment but this time no one was present at the office! So I parked the car and went to find someone to give my keys so I could go to my appointment. I found the lady that is usually there in the afternoon in a lot past the office. When I told her I already parked the car she immediately raised her voice and yelled that I shouldn't have parked my car in her lot if there was no one there. I told her, without raising my voice, that I had an appointment, I didn't know, and asked for the ticket but she continued to argue with me! She finally took my keys and gave me a ticket, but by then it was already 1:00 and I was late, so i became upset and informed her of my frustrations in the mornings which made me late so many times. She proceeded to follow me out of the lot and continued to ask me about it/ argue with me! I got so upset that I told her to leave me alone because I am fed with them and I would just never park there again. She then blocked my way and refused to let me go without my car, and accused me of cursing at her when I never did such a thing! I am never, EVER parking there again! I was 20 minutes late because of her and the incompetence at ESP Parking!!!
By the way, If you are a student at downstate doing a rotation just go to the student parking office at the dorms and you'll get to park for a month or more with less then $14. You can also park at the multilevel parking lot after 3:00pm for I think up to 12 hours for less then ten bucks (about a dollar an hour!) with your ID. Plus both downstate and Kings County employees have discounted parking options. Today I also found out you can park your car at the gas station for 10 per day. So do yourself a favor and don't waste your money with this disrespectful and incompetent lot.

The location is awesome because it's so close to Downstate. There is a 24-hour parking lot which is good if you work nights or if you may run a little late and don't want to be harangued at their daily parking lot.
Which brings me to the main issue with ESP parking...
The lady who runs it is extremely high-strung and argumentative. If there is the slightest question or issue, she will call your phone and email you repeatedly until you respond to her, even within a very short time (she will also send you multiple emails about the same thing, even after you respond to her). I know a number of people who take public transportation to work just because they can't find affordable parking elsewhere and just could not tolerate feeling harassed by her.
The other reviewers are totally correct about how she calls and yells at you and unannounced policy changes.
A lot of these positive reviews sound suspiciously similar (""safe, clean and secure,"" ""safe, clean and cheap,"" ""half a block from Downstate,"" ""best place to park"") and suspiciously like advertisement (""coupons and savings,"" ""check out the website,"" ""trust your car at ESP parking""). I would take them with a grain of salt.

I recently just found out about ESP Parking, by doing a google search 'parking near downstate' and it came up first, so I decided to try it out. First, I visited there website and looked for promotions and coupons, and then saw one and printed a $1.00 coupon. I then parked there and it was Fast in and out Parking Service. I would highly recommend this parking lot as I am a fanatic of where I park my car.

Although the location is very convenient for SUNY Downstate, the staff is extremely rude when you decide to end your monthly parking. They are very strict in their policies, however they violated their own policy as stated below:
""Please notify ESP Parking 2 weeks prior if you are leaving by email. The clicker and permits must be returned to our main office on your last day of that month. Mandatory""
by mandating me to return the clicker and permit the very next day even though i had 15 more days left of the month. The staff is not friendly and will make policy changes as she wish so beware. I was courteous and following policy when I called in the middle of month to inform the establishment that I will no longer be parking with them. I would definitely not recommend any of my fellow student or friends to park there anymore.

OK...I parked here for almost an year...the lady seriously has issues and probably by far the worst person I've met...i had always been a good customer..oneday she calls me yelling at me for no apparent reason...first i thought she got the wrong number but then she kept going...i decided not to park here....do yourself a favor and get on the parking list at downstate asap...if that doesn't work and you have to park here just beware....i personally didn't need the additional stress in dealing with a crazy woman....

Esp Parking is the best place to park your car. My family and I went to go visit my friend who is very sick and we parked at Esp Parking which is very safe, clean, very cheap, and most of all a half block from Kings County Hospital where my friend is. I recommend this parking lot to everyone, it's the best place to park your car. Definitely I give it 5 stars.
I had to go to the hospital, to see my friend who is very sick. I looked around for a parking lot close to Kings County Hospital and I saw ESP Parking which was 1/2 block from Kings County Hospital. It was also safe, clean, and most of all cheap. For sure I give it 5 stars, wish I could give it more.
Pros: Cheapest, Safest, and Cleanest place in neighborhood
Cons: nothing at all
