Beware!!!! I have been a Citywash laundry customer since the business opened. Sometimes I wash and dry my own clothes. Sometimes I let them dry wash my clothes (extra price). Recently I have noticed missing clothes and having other people's clothes in my bag when I pick them up. Upon discover their employee told me they color coordinate and wash and dry clothes of multiple customers clothes together and this might be the reason clothes might be mix. (At least he was honest but it caused my safe risk) I understand they trying to save money but who wants other peoples clothes wash and dry together?Anyway they refused to help be relocate and look in the camera to see how the mix up happened and refused to provide any type of compensation of my missing clothes even though it was their mistakes. I even called the owner but no help received. I am very disappointed. It was my favorite laundromat and had a convenient parking lot.I recommend wash and dry your own clothes instead of letting them wash and dry. Thanks

I came back to this cleaner after years of not being a customer because the staff was rude. Now since it is under new management it is much more pleasant to go in and do my dry cleaning. in the past was so depressing that is one of the reasons I refused to go back. It is also much cleaner and so much brighter when you walk in and the new owner is such a nice person. I dropped off my husbands suit and a dressy dress and some cotton shirts. Everything came back 2 days later clean and perfect. The prices are reasonable and I was happy with my clothes. I'll definitely be back!!
Beware of this cleaners who purport to be COUTURE cleaners of gowns and wedding dresses. I brought in a silk evening gown with glass beading around the neckline and inquired if the beading had to be removed prior to being serviced. I was assured that it was going to be cleaned by hand and that it would be returned to me in perfect condition. I prepaid $250.00 for the service and when the gown was delivered to me - all the beads had lost their coloring and some had actually melted onto the dress. When I called I was told the dress was perfect when it left their facility, that they needed to contact the manufacturer. They promised to call me, of course no call back. I called again only to be hung up on. In other words, the usual diversionary tactics - everything but taking responsibility for ruining a $4000.00 gown. After speaking with a relative and hearing that Madelaine had ruined her daughters $13,000 Monique Lhuillier weding gown I felt it was time to warn consumers about this nasty, lying, scamming business. Taking them to small claims.
DONOTT COME HERE!!!!!! Im surprised theyre still open. Although half the time they are closed for long periods of time. There is no way they are making money. This dry cleaners is so unprofessional, unreliable, and dishonest. Their work is laughable and I'm thoroughly confused as to why they thought they could run a successful dry cleaners. I brought a perfect condition, brand new, never worn dress in for alterations on the strap to create a halter as opposed to a tie neck, they gave me a estimate on how long it wold take, when it was finally ready, it was ready on time but that was the only positive of the situation. The halter neck was way shorter than we discussed causing the dress to be up too high on my neck, but the biggest drawback was that they damaged my dress. It looked as though it either got caught in heavy machinery and had skid and scrap marks or that it got dragged by a car, literally. After seeing my dress and becoming hysterical because it was for prom, the person at the desk as the girl who took in the dress and said i brought it in that way as if that makes any sense, why would i bring in a damaged dress and not attempt to have it cleaned, although nothing they could provide would fix the level of damage, after disputing this lie the manager or owner or whoever the man was said he would give us the money for the dress but that wouldn't solve anything because prom was that day. Moral of the story definitely check reviews for a place beforehand, and if there aren't any go somewhere else. and give yourself a bigger gap for when receiving just in case any errors. Lesson learned because I really wanted to support.
While standing outside next to S & S Cleaners and talking on my phone, one of the owners came to chase me away with a broom. It is very disrespectful.
This place is terrible! They didn't clean my clothes at all but forced me to pay for that. And also stuff is rude. Will never come back there again
Do not deal with this company. Total ripoff, took the money & never delivered product!! Tried to call customer service & only got answer machine.Ordered item from smartek through walmart.com order #2981783-005433. Total fraud!!!!
They will steal your clothes and pretend to be shut down. Dealing with the police to get my clothes back never never never never call this place
CUSTOMER BEWARE!! I brought in an expensive down coat from Iceland that cost me almost $500. The coat was still practically brand new. When it was returned to me, it had faded spots all over it and the zipper was ripped out from its seam in one area.When I brought it back to the place, the owner looked up my phone number and claimed that because this was my first time using them that I was trying to cause trouble and that when I brought my coat in, it already had all those damages. He claimed that I just wanted money when all I was asking him was if he could fix the damage on the coat.First off, it was not my first time there. I was there one time before and he had cleaned my down comforter. He did such a good job on that, I thought I could trust him with my expensive down coat. I should have read the reviews on this place beforehand. I didn't realize he has a history of damaging or losing items and not taking responsibility for it. Second point I want to make is that even if it was my first time there, why would that make any difference?! So if a customer uses a business for the first time and something goes wrong that automatically means that the customer is at fault?! That makes no sense! Lastly, why would I pay to have a damaged and faded coat cleaned?! What am I going to do with a clean coat I can't even wear?! His whole argument made no sense!Anyway, he refused to do anything for me and just screamed at me from the moment I came in. He was very unprofessional and rude. Mistakes happen and all I was asking was for him to take responsibility for his mistake and help me out by fixing the damage he caused. The conversation went nowhere and I was just being accused of wanting money and starting trouble. There was no point in continuing the conversation with him. I urge you to please not make the mistake I did. Do your research on the place and listen to the reviews. I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I went through with this business.
If I could give zero stars, I would. Please, please, please don't give these rude people your business.I brought them a jumper a few months ago to be dry cleaned; it came back with all the stains still on it. When I pointed them out to the woman at the desk, she shrugged (friendliest she's ever been) and told me they didn't come out but I still needed to pay. I figured that's the way the cookie crumbles sometimes and paid her, but wasn't psyched to go back.My husband and I found ourselves in a pinch and sent them our wash and fold a few weeks ago. When the laundry came back, everything looked like it would now only fit a 10 year old, not my husband. Again, that's kinda the risk you take when you send your laundry out so I tried to let it go. That was, until I pulled out three items in the bag that had been ruined. THREE! A brand new towel had bleach stains all over it, my sweater with navy blue trim was now a sweater with brown trim, and my husband's white shirt was covered with navy blue stains. I took all the items back over there, (with another towel from the set for comparison purposes) and put them on the counter to have a conversation about what might have happened and how we could move forward. Let's be clear that I'm a fairly even-keeled person, and I wanted to have a conversation about what had happened and how we could come to an agreement that would feel fair to both of us. Instead, I got shouted at. The woman at the desk flat out denied that they had done this to the clothes, and told me to prove it. She accused me of lying, and then told me that it didn't matter, that she didn't care and didn't need my business anyway. There are other places to go where people acknowledge mistakes (we all make 'em!) and want your business. Take your money there - anywhere but here, please!
