I had my daughters in Prospect Park after highly recommendation from my Rav however they are not what they say they are. I transferred my girls to Lev Beis Yakov what an amazing staff they have and care about each individual child. Prospect park was good before when Rabbi kelman senior used to be in charge now its a disaster.

This is a wonderful school, children are very safe, the learn to respect each other. this school education is of a very high standard.
It was THE WORST experience ever. Let me just say in all my years I have never yelped a company but I felt it was incumbent upon me to do it for this company. After lesson one I had my reservations as the first instructor ran a personal errand on my time and in the middle of a lesson he answered his phone. Despite his faults I didn't make a big deal about it and proceeded with lesson two. Well, well, well. The guy was 11 minutes late picking me up and provided no apologies. I pointed it out and he looked at me as if I were speaking an alternate language. Whatever! And again I made no big deal about the HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I was a nervous reck and the driver made me feel like I was stupid and expected me to know what I was doing....HUH news flash, I'm taking driving lessons for a reason. Anyway he confused me a lot. I was checked out and jaded about my lessons. I called the company and canceled all future lessons. I like to support my haitian companies but not this one...F-
I had a completely different experience from the other reviewers I see here. The classes were very reasonably priced and the management was always professional and helpful to me, always. They worked around my schedule and I was never penalized when I cancelled even a minute before scheduled driving practice. The main problem I encountered was contradictory approaches when I had someone other than my regular instructor working with me. I was lucky to have Gabriel as my instructor for the most and he was very meticulous, and was very invested in my learning to drive and passing the test. There is a fantastic method to his teaching that prepared me well for the rigors of the road and the test. I went to this school after having experiences with impatient teachers at another school, so I went there with a tough zero tolerance attitude for impatience. I was direct whenever I felt any teacher was not operating with the patience I demanded, I let them know straight up that I was not going to deal with any attitude and impatience. So if you are going to this or any driving school, expect teachers who are impatient at times but that should not be a factor you cant vary especially if the teacher is excellent otherwise. Take control of your learning. ask questions until they are answered and don't be afraid to say from one adult to another "you are being very impatient and I am not going to tolerate this today". WRT the accent, I do not speak creole but when at the times I did not understand a driver, I asked him to repeat, just as we do in NYC when we encounter someone whose English accent is not exactly the same as ours.On the day of my test, Gabriel was the one giving me tips all the way to the road test site. To each his own I guess, but I had a great experience with this school. I did not pass the first road test because I obviously was not prepared, I just hadn't taken enough classes. I cant blame a school for that. I passed the second time because I took many more classes in prep. Nobody can make driving automatic for you, it depends on practice and practice depends on the number of classes you pay for (if you don't have a family or friend with a car to practice in your own time). I would highly recommend La Difference if you are like me, who was looking for reasonably priced instruction, close to home (Brooklyn) professional friendly management who always accommodated me, and experienced, talented and though sometimes tough teachers such as Gabriel.
I just got my permit last month and I signed up with Fox auto driving school. Everyone working there is SO friendly and helpful. My instructor is Alex and he is an AWESOME teacher. He is very patient with me and that's great because I have never been behind the wheel of a car before and I was VERY VERY nervous but Alex calmed me down and taught me everything from the basics. I am now confident that I will be able to pass my road test. If you are like me and are nervous to get in the driver's seat.. then I highly recommend Fox Auto driving school and ask for Alex, he'll teach you all you need to know.
I'm all about supporting black businesses, but this was definitely a horrible experience.Very unprofessional, blatantly rude and unpleasant. You're a just a dollar sign to them, there's no encouragement for you to pass your road test. During the driving classes its like you can't ask any questions. It's like you're suppose to know what you're doing all the time and can't make a mistake & if you are improving or not improving you won't know because nothing is said example: "you need to work on this or I think it would be best to take additional classes before the road test." I should have seen it coming!!! The instructor Gabriel was always rude, irritated & had a smart comment to make. So if you're looking to pass your road test, I wouldn't recommend this driving school, because they will shoot your confidence level down. On the day of the road test I was a bit nervous and Gabriel said "I was asking too many questions and I should just sit there." Note all I was trying to do was refresh my memory :-/. So being a bit nervous went from me being a nervous wreck!!! And yes I failed...& If you fail no questions are being ask as to what you did wrong and what you can possibly do to improve your chances of passing next time around. And unless you speak fluent Creole don't waste your time, cause the heavy Haitian accent makes its almost impossible for you to understand the instructions. Worse of all he Gabriel answers his phone during your classes and takes up your time where he can give you helpful tip. I Honestly wish I had taken my business else where. And initially I thought it was just me, but the day of the road test none of the other students had some thing positive to say. So like the other review said "Don't waste your time and money!!!"
Infinity Preschool came recommended as 'the best' school in the Marine Park area. After touring the school and meeting with my son's future teacher, Miss Patricia, I decided to sign up for the summer 2014 and the 2014-2015 school year. My husband and I were pleased with the developmental progress our two year old son was making there. One day, after I picked him up, I noticed he had an injury on his chest that looked like a prick with a sharp needle-like object and his t-shirt had white symmetrical circles in the same spot as the injury which appeared to have been sprayed on(a stain remover to get rid of blood most likely). When I asked his teacher, Miss Patricia about it, her immediate response was, 'What do you think happened?'. I thought that was a strange answer coming from a teacher to a worried parent. Furthermore, Miss Patricia told me that she is not aware of anything happening to my son on that particular day. After being lied to by Miss Patricia and her assistant, Miss Karen, my trust in these individuals and the school had been broken and I couldn't leave my son under their watch any longer. When I told Miss Wendy, the administrative associate of the school, that he will not be attending in the coming school year because of this incident, instead of being concerned, she attacked me verbally over the phone. My son had to undergo an intravenous blood test to make sure he did not contract HIV, Hepatitis B or C among other diseases, from the needle-like object that came into contact with his blood. There were other instances of neglect I've witnessed at Infinity Preschool: one girl's pacifier fell on the playground floor and the teachers just picked it up and placed it back in her mouth without as much as rinsing it; on a different occasion a toddler wandered all the way to the open door of the front entrance, and the teachers who were watching him, didn't come running, they had no idea he was gone! When I signed up my son at Infinity Preschool I was excited that he can learn and develop in a safe environment. However, the staff at Infinity Preschool has proven to be incompetent and inexperienced at watching children, and the school's administration has shown to lack the ethics and the professionalism to take responsibility for their mistakes.
This event was poorly planned, overbooked, and woefully executed. Must try harder, Secret Science Club. There was hardly room to fit half the people that showed up, standing in multiple lines to stamp this and scan that was reminiscent of the adversarial futility of dealing with the DMV and the taxidermy on display was laughably bad. People literally brought taxidermy they'd bought in a store to show off. This might have worked as a gallery event where you could walk and mingle amongst taxidermy displays. As a ticketed on-stage-speaker event is was an infuriating bore.
i love this school my daughter goes there the way they great the kids in the morning its nice i'll see when the middle of the school year what i;ll write, the teachers are really nice people god bless them.
