The fishy smell will overtake you as soon as you enter. The service isn’t the best, and not the worst. You can tell they don’t want to be there. Some dishes have a “straight from the ocean” freezer taste, and others are just smothered in oil. I love the biscuits, but that’s about it.
I love this place for a good breakfast, sometime for lunch. Elena is a very sweet person and a hard worker to make sure you are getting everything you need.
took the train down to coney island for the day and saw some cool stuff as i was walking by, did not plan to shop but really liked the shirts. Recommend checking it out
Good food, good service. The decor leaves something to be desired. It looks as though it hasn't been redecorated since 1975.
I stopped by to get some good Caribbean food but I was disappointed. The Cashiers sat behind the counter picking her nose with a very 'don't care' attitude' the server was slow, no where to be seen. I had to call several times. When she did come she came with nonchalant attitude and "slab dash" service. The food was luke warm and mediocre.I will not go back there.
The restaurant fills up quickly. A short, but excellent menu. All the food here is amazing, but I pretty much always get the burger. All foods are fresh and really good. Staffs friendly, price reasonable. Their homemade sodas are a nice touch too.
Linda's Bakery makes the best black pudding and white pudding in New York City. This Guyanese bakery located in Flatbush is where my family has always ordered black pudding, white pudding and cheese straw for parties. There's a bit of a wait on the weekend but it's totally worth it.
I call them and order my food when I got there I had to wait for over 1 hour . When I ask the lady for my food she got mad at me . Moun sa yo pa respekte moun
The food, the staff, the attention to detail were all the best. Makes me proud to be a New Yorker! This is where you want to go to have the best all around experience. Thank you, Chadwick's for holding up the standard of excellence.
A cool place to hang with large groups. Expect to eat plenty, but that goes without saying in an All-You-Can-Eat place. It's better if you come starving, so you'll enjoy the flavor of the broth more, as each ingredient you boil in it makes the flavor deeper.
