small store but so many new styles with best price.professional Doctor and Opticians with good personality.
GARBAGE!!!! New York Optical at 48 Graham Avenue in Brooklyn is atrocious. Customer service is garbage. The older lady manager is a lier and a hustler. This a chop shop. You go there you’ll be there all day even with an appointment. All they care about is conning people out of money. They could care less if you have insurance it’s all about cash up front also you’ll be waiting for ordered glasses or contacts for weeks turning into months. This place is horrible do yourselves a favor if considering this place go somewhere else.
Where do I begin? My sister and I were browsing for potential bridesmaid dresses and happened to spot a dress in the window of this despicable store. We entered and asked to try on the dress being that I saw my size. The young lady took the dress off the rack, and proceeded to bring it to the back so that I can try it on. As she passed the counter, she told the man (whom I assuming is the manager) that I wanted to try it on. He then rudely began asking me "Oh do you know its $250 ?" and after saying yes that's fine. He then went on to say "Well we work on commission and if you not going to leave a deposit I dont want to order the dresses because then I'm going to lose money" mind you he is yelling this to us and all I wanted to do was try on the dress!!!! But right away it was implied that we could not afford the dress so therefore we weren't worth the time it took to try it on!!!! I STRONGLY ADVISE ANY POTENTIAL SHOPPERS TO AVOID THIS STORE. How do you treat a customer in such a disrespectful manner?!?!?
This is where I got saved and fill with the holy Ghost.
Stay AWAY!! They will charge you 3 times more than in other places for frames ($600 instead of $200). They ordered for me the wrong lenses, of much inferior quality than they claim they did, and charged 4 (FOUR!!) times more than my actual copayment had to be according insurance customer care information. I am reporting them to my insurance company for insurance fraud. NEVER go to this place, NEVER!!
Had an appointment at Royal Optix at 10am and arrived 15 minutes late. Took about 25 min to see the eye doctor but it was worth it. Optomerist was very knowledgeable and attentive. Very advanced equipment. They have a very huge collection of eyeglasses. Highly recommended.
My son is 7 mos and has been in daycare since he was 3 mos. I wanted to try this place cause its 2 blocks from home.I checked it out and met with the director Ms. Brown. I paid the $450 to get him started. I dropped my son off on Monday. I called to check on him throughout the day and he’s crying most the time. The woman in the infant area Yvette and Ms. Brown tell me it’s just the first day blues and he’s fine. I left work early to pick up my son and am appalled by what I see. He’s on the mat playing with a toy. The mat is dirty and covered with debris, just like it was on Friday. The women who work there are wearing their street shoes and walking all over the mats! WTF! If the babies are crawling and playing on the mats WHY ON EARTH would you walk on the mat with your shoes?!I took my son home and took off this wet onsie only to discover he is wearing another onsie underneath it. WHO THE HECK puts 2 onsies on a baby? I called Ms. Brown about my refund because I’m returning my son to his old daycare tomorrow. She tells me she no longer works at ABC Ministries so I need to speak to Yvette about that. I called the daycare to try to speak to Yvette she told the person who answered the phone to tell me she’s off the clock. WTF?! So because you’re off the clock you can’t answer a question on the phone? I was eventually routed to Ms. Ward who owns the day care. She asked for my honest opinion why I wanted to remove my son. I told her about the employees wearing shoes in the infant area. She said they always have. I told the mat was soiled and not cleaned from Friday. She told me she had heard enough. Ms. Ward was curt and pompous. She said she would call me back concerning my deposit but never did. I had to keep calling her. I had no problem shelling out $450 in cash to resister my son for 1 day in her grungy daycare. As a business owner I expected the same promptness and some level of professionalism from Ms. Ward. Not the runaround.
I shop there alot. I Just love that place. nice staff. ez ppl to deal with. Great prices. Just bought leather talis bag.
I've ordered custom kippot from Greenfeld in the past. Very well done. This time I needed very specialized embroidery and sewing work. Heshy was very helpful throughout the process, especially since we came from far away while we were on vacation in the Brooklyn area. Heshy kept in touch about our order and made sure everything was handled promptly. The cost was very reasonable for all the work that was done. Thank you so much!
The service is absolutely horrible. They smile and behave friendly, but they are incompetent. They try to squeeze as much money from you as they can, but if you can't use glasses that they made, there is no money back and they don't want to fix it.
