If I could rate more stars I would. Simply amazing! Everyone is so polite, respectful, caring, and awesome! From the moment I called they were in depth about every detail I needed. Prompt with making and keeping appointments. I needed to reschedule one appointment because I was called into work and they were able to fit me in that very night!! Fit me in in two ways!! I am definitely coming back for future alteration needs and recommending it to all of my friends, coworkers, or anyone who asks!!

Be Careful. Brought in my deceased mothers very upscale clothing and shoes. They were very thankful for the wonderful selection and it was a pleasant experience at that time.Given 90 day contract that states "we do reserve the right to make exceptions to the 90 day contract", and also that you can "pick up your items" at the end of the consignment period as long as you call. I was told they must collect them for you as you are not allowed to pull them yourself. I called for pick-up for 60 days instead of 90 days, and was told absolutely no problem at all. I had mentioned this was a possibility at the drop off as it was hard for me to let go of my deceased mothers clothing. They completely understood that concern. My final check had a $10.00 deduction. I called to find out why. I was told it took time to find my items and that the staff must be paid (note not in contract or ever implied), I was told I was out of line, other fretful comments, and that I was a difficult customer! Ouch!
This place is a pass. Took in name brands...some never worn and most slightly worn. A good number of items were better than many items there. Brand new Alegria shoes were passed over...bought this year and they claimed they were an old style. Some of the shoes that they were selling actually smelled bad. Very off putting. Will never go there again.
Great service! Very friendly! Highly recommend!
I would avoid this place at all costs. I am never going here again. This location is completely disappointing. Their clothing selection is extremely underwhelming. I have also tried to sell here twice, and both times I left angry. The first time I brought in a variety of nice, gently used brands. I would say the items I purchased originally between $30-70 each. They passed on most of it. I was confused but just assumed it wasn't what they were looking for at the time. Recently I brought in two huge bags of clothes to sell. They completely rejected all of it saying they don't accept "teen brands." This doesn't make any sense because many of the brands I brought in (including free people, american apparel, j jill, new york & co) are all listed on their website as brands they accept. I don't think they even looked through the items I brought. The atmosphere of the store is bland. The few times I have shopped there the owner has never been helpful but comes off as extremely judgmental.I have met one nice employee here.
The store advertises that it accepts gently used previously owned clothing however I went in with all name brand clothing gently used and they " passed " on all of it, 15 pair of jeans a dress and a wool blazer because they were older than two years. They say they passed on a Calvin Klein dress because they had so many dresses. Huh?? I think they are full of it. The process is time-consuming, it took them 45 minutes, allegedly, to assess the clothing that I brought in. I left for 45 minutes and came back to find out that they did not want anything, this included Isaac Mizrahi, Liz Claiborne, Ralph Lauren and other great items. I'm going to donate these awesome items to Goodwill where they will be put to good use, will never recommend Clothes Mentor to anyone!
Love this boutique! It is always fun to shop here. The owner, Ginny, makes it easy to find the right gift, outfit, or room décor. I drive to Brookfield from Madison to find a great selection of Uggs for babies and kids, as well as clothes that don't look like they came from the mall.
I visit this store maybe 2-3 times a year. I am full of excitement because I think I will find something special. I look...but seldom buy. The have a wide variety of merchandise. Everything from baby clothes, men's clothes, purses, shoes, and nick knacks. They recently started a punch card. earning $25 for merchandise when filled. The jewelry case is impressive and something for everyone. I'm not sure why I don't buy...perhaps the prices are higher. I think shopping here on a 20% off day would be ideal. I have consigned here but on a limited basis. It seems they might be working with a small staff, only one girl, when I was there. An open mind should make your visit worthwhile.
