I needed my bridesmaid dress altered in under two weeks and they were able to meet my deadline! Very friendly staff.
If I could rate more stars I would. Simply amazing! Everyone is so polite, respectful, caring, and awesome! From the moment I called they were in depth about every detail I needed. Prompt with making and keeping appointments. I needed to reschedule one appointment because I was called into work and they were able to fit me in that very night!! Fit me in in two ways!! I am definitely coming back for future alteration needs and recommending it to all of my friends, coworkers, or anyone who asks!!
I went into the Windsor to get a dress that they were out of stock online. I had to have it shipped to the store. I paid for the dress after waiting in a ridiculously long line and then returned about 20 minutes later to get a different dress I had also been thinking about buying. When I went up to the register again she asked me if I had paid for the shipping on the other dress. I had already bought it and it was explained to me that I would not have to pay the shipping if I got the dress. She made me then pay for the shipping on the dress even though I had already purchased the dress and left but then came back. I thought this was very rude and their fault. She made the remark if I would not have come back I wouldn't have had to pay the shipping. That is not right, right on the receipt it says " We want to make you happy." Well you didn't and I will not be coming back to the Windsor in Brookfield.
This place is a pass. Took in name brands...some never worn and most slightly worn. A good number of items were better than many items there. Brand new Alegria shoes were passed over...bought this year and they claimed they were an old style. Some of the shoes that they were selling actually smelled bad. Very off putting. Will never go there again.
Great service! Very friendly! Highly recommend!
I would avoid this place at all costs. I am never going here again. This location is completely disappointing. Their clothing selection is extremely underwhelming. I have also tried to sell here twice, and both times I left angry. The first time I brought in a variety of nice, gently used brands. I would say the items I purchased originally between $30-70 each. They passed on most of it. I was confused but just assumed it wasn't what they were looking for at the time. Recently I brought in two huge bags of clothes to sell. They completely rejected all of it saying they don't accept "teen brands." This doesn't make any sense because many of the brands I brought in (including free people, american apparel, j jill, new york & co) are all listed on their website as brands they accept. I don't think they even looked through the items I brought. The atmosphere of the store is bland. The few times I have shopped there the owner has never been helpful but comes off as extremely judgmental.I have met one nice employee here.
The store advertises that it accepts gently used previously owned clothing however I went in with all name brand clothing gently used and they " passed " on all of it, 15 pair of jeans a dress and a wool blazer because they were older than two years. They say they passed on a Calvin Klein dress because they had so many dresses. Huh?? I think they are full of it. The process is time-consuming, it took them 45 minutes, allegedly, to assess the clothing that I brought in. I left for 45 minutes and came back to find out that they did not want anything, this included Isaac Mizrahi, Liz Claiborne, Ralph Lauren and other great items. I'm going to donate these awesome items to Goodwill where they will be put to good use, will never recommend Clothes Mentor to anyone!
I walked into the store looking for a cute new dress for a special date with my boyfriend. Upon walking in the store I got no greeting. Ignoring this, I continued my search. I made my way to the clearance rack and found the perfect dress! I was thrilled! But I went to try it on and waited five minutes for someone to actually acknowledge that I was waiting for a fitting room. I tried the dress on and found that the belt that should have been with the dress wasn't there. I checked the rack and there was no other dress like this on. When I went to check out the girl didn't even ask how I was doing she pretty much ignored me. I mentioned the missing belt and asked if I could get an additional discount for the missing belt, the girl replied with an EXTREMELY rude comment about how they can't do that since it was a clearance dress. Then instead of looking for a belt to match the dress the girl went to the cabinet that was for damages or returns and pulled out the first belt she saw. It didn't match at all and was creased and was beginning to fall apart. I turned down the belt. I paid for the dress and left the store. I didn't get a "goodbye" or a "come back soon!" Nothing. I was and still am extremely disappointed in my experience there. The least that the girl could have done was try to help me find a belt that actually matched the dress or something! This store has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced.
Love this boutique! It is always fun to shop here. The owner, Ginny, makes it easy to find the right gift, outfit, or room décor. I drive to Brookfield from Madison to find a great selection of Uggs for babies and kids, as well as clothes that don't look like they came from the mall.
