Great CDPAP agency, helped out my grandmother with home care service, staff was really nice and helpful. Would recommend
Great Service! My aide is always on time and does so much for me. She is my Guardian Angel. I love her.
I really like this home care agency. My aunt works there with my Grandmother and we have never had a problem. The only issue we have is with Geovanni who never seems to find stuff when we sent it to him Dyana and Ada are very nice and helpful. Have never had an issue with them whatsoever.
Not sure what has happened since 2013 as the ratings appeared to be decent. However, the only thing “amazing” about the agency is how “TERRIBLE” it actually is. Save yourself the frustration and aggravation and just look for a different agency now. The purpose of having an aide is to help and care for the person that needs care, not to cause the person problems. The agency coordination team assigned (including the supervisor) is non-responsive, does not return phone calls (even in emergency situations), does not keep the client informed and tries to use the client’s family as back-up when the assigned aides do not show up, show up late or experience a problem during the day. It appears that aides are not trained and are not monitored as they frequently are combative, often arrive late, or just sit around using their cell phones when they are supposed to be engaging the client or performing the duties that have been approved by the health insurance company.
I don't normally do reviews, but I am compelled to do so for this company. This company was sent from above! I'm a full time employee, who also attends school with a family of four to tend to, and they have been an immense help with my grandmother, who lives alone. She was recently admitted to a rehab due to falling in her bathroom and they helped me get her all set once she returned home. They connected me with an agency to assist with a home health aide and even got me a case manager to help me with caring for her. They even called periodically to check up on her! I greatly appreciate this company and will highly recommend their service.
I have multiple issues with this agency and I am aware that I am not the only one. First of all 95% of the aides need to be retrained. Especially in their professionalism. Aides constantly use their cell phones in the patient's home during working hours. They do not practice infection control nor follow Plan of Care (POC). Often, aides do not report changes regarding the patient's health to their nurse or supervisor. Instead, aides take matters into their own hands and put themselves in a situation that also puts the patient in danger. Aides attempt to cover up when they need to report matters to the agency because there is a fear of reprisal (job syndrome). An example would be an aide pushing soap up the patient's rectum because the patient is constipated rather than contacting the patient's nurse. Some aides administer medication(s) to patients, which they are not trained to do. When it involves medication, an aide should just remind and assist. I would never allow some of the aides in this agency to take care of my goldfish or hamster, much less one of my loved ones. Supervisors need to take a training course in the agency, regarding following guidelines. They cover up their mistakes, blame it on the aides, and do not return calls. Due to the mistakes of the supervisors that are blamed on the aides, aides are called in for discipline. Supervisors do not follow the rules of the agency as well. It is the root of the issue relating to the behavior of the aides. When an aide does pursue to act professionally or simply do the right thing and follow the agency's rules, the supervisor often does not appreciate it, creating a bad image of the aide in the supervisor and thus the agency's eyes. There is an issue regarding the hours of the home health aides. Aides should be working at least 40 hours according to the agency's guidelines. Most aides receive less than 20 hours per week. The hours are not set in stone either. Aides are often contacted only a little while before going to the patient's care. In the case of an emergency where an aide must fill in for another, the aide is contacted only an hour in advance to be at the patient's home, regardless the distance. Only in the case of an emergency, this aide is being treated with respect, in any other setting, the aides are treated as objects. This organization needs the agency's own nurses to check on some of the aides working in the patients homes, especially aides who fail to follow POC. This agency has many faults that must be dealt with as soon as possible. The agency is slowly creating a bad reputation for themselves and more and more aides are beginning to realize it too. These aides are leaving the agency one by one, especially the ones who are good and following protocol, which mind you, is only a handful. The management is not following its own rules, leading the agency into this darkness.
I worked for this agency for 3 weeks and I never got paid. I am going afterthem to get my pay. This agency is a rip off and a bunch of liars at that!!!
This company doesn't even deserve this one star. This company was provided to me after getting out of the hospital and they are horrible!! The nurse provided to me set upa service for home INR(blood thinner) checks, I ended up canceling the service after ONE visit . First, no one ever called to actually let me know when the nurse would come, the nurse called randomly while she was her way. I was a bit confused and asked what she was coming for and she didn't even know. However, I rescheduled. The nurse drew blood but I never received a call back. I called muiltple times and didn't get an answer, I actually had to call the lab to get instructions on how to get an answer. Finally got an answer and was told that they couldn't get results, yet no one called to say anything. Then, I asked when the nurse will return to do it again, whoever answered the phone had no idea. Luckily I didn't sit around like a fool and went to my original doctor to get checked, my levels ended up being too low. My point is they are extremely irresponsible, I wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.
Amazing home care cordinators is real direspectfull especially cj from team 33100 , she tslk rude to my mom , they dont even pay the aids on time
i am now employed here at amazing home care and a lot of stuff people have said is not completely true.they are a very responsible agency and they offer health benefits and paid vacation (AFTER PROBATION PERIOD OF 90 DAYS).For the people who had bad experiences i am very sorry to hear this there will always be bad apples in a company (slackers) but im pretty sure these people were fired.i hope i helped in some kind of way to help people change their minds about seeking employment and or services here.
