The School for Excellence is an educational institution that provides assistance with development of critical thinking and intellectual skills in students. The school offers classes in mathematics, science, Spanish, and health and physical education. It also operates a special education department. The School for Excellence is governed by the Morris Campus, which also operates the Morris Academy for Collaborative Studies, High School for Violin and Dance and Bronx International High School. The district s schools libraries house a collection of books, periodicals and audiovisual materials. Its schools provide various sports activities, such as volleyball, basketball, baseball and softball. The Morris Campus also operates Bronx Leadership Academy II.
