Aggressive, rude, almost ran me over!!! I was rear-ended by one of the taxies from this company on 3/8/18 in front of the NYBG!!! There was not much damage to my car and I was not hurt, but still "just in case" wanted to exchange info. I asked the driver for his license and registration and he became verbally abusive. I believe I smelled alcohol on his breath so I held back. He gave me his registration to take a copy of but it belonged to the company and did not have his name. I insisted on the license. He got into his car and tried to drive away even tho I was standing there, I had to move fast to not get run over. Lucky for me, there was an off-duty policeman driving by and saw what happened. He blocked the driver's way and spend good 15 min talking to him and trying to persuade him to give me his info. In the end, I have the info. Since no one got hurt I did not call the police, but I wanted to let the company know what happened. HAVE BEEN TRYING TO REACH THEM EVER SINCE (phone # is always busy). Incompetent, unresponsive, unaccountable,and all together unprofessional.Sent me a notice that we qualified for a reduced rental rental apt at steinway estates. First question when I Called to make appt for interview was if owning my own apt was an issue,I was assured several times that it was not.First question when I went for the interview was if owning my current apt would be an issue,was assured multiple times it would not be. Was asked to get about 6 notirized letters, and a ton of other paper work,had to itemize ,line by line,every deposit on my bnk statement for previous 6 months,like 7total hours of work.Was told we were certain to get this apt within a month.Called for updates,never got responses from at least 10 calls,emails,Vm full half the time,finally got one on the phone who said,after 3 months and hving passed up several other nice apartments based on the assurance of said idiot from 3 months earlier,that O Yea, you own an apartment, yea you don't qualify based on that...??? O yea we took $50 to run your credit and although we should have realized that 3 months ago,let alone from the very first moment we spoke,sorry you dont qualify.O if I hadn'nt called and you accidentally picked up the phone I would have been still walkign arounf thinking that were in with this great new apartment for me,my 2 yr old daughter and my PREGNANT WIFE. you should have gotten a letter.....O No Miss Fuckface we never got the letter,O we'll send 1 out,O Ok don't hurt yourself.So Beware these people re not accountable to anyone because it looks like they are admins for the city of new york,so good luck trying to get any sort of recourse because the people you would cal to complain,are in bed with these people.
I rented an apartment from this company through a realtor name Margaret (Mary) Edusei. Ive had problems from the start! I have been in this apartment for 2.5 years and come to find out she was not paying anything (WATER, TAXES, MORTGAGE) on the house but, she made sure to take my 1600 every month. Now the bank has the house and she is reluctant to give back my security deposit. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS OFFICE. If I was able to pack up and move I would have months ago.
This man is a scam artist artist.HE charged my boyfriend and I 1400 to move into a 200 a week room. And less then 3 weeks later i leave for work 1 Saturday and the landlord brings people in the home to view the room my boyfriend and I signed a lease to stay in for the next 6 months. And has the nerve to say the lease was for 1 month. I would never agree to pay to much money for so little time and i have multiple copies of the signed lease between myself, my boyfriend and the landlord. Do not give this man your time or money.
If you rent a car from American Lease in Queens. You have to return it to the Bronx location !!! They charge you the cash toll rates instead of ez pass rate. The quoted rental price does not include the insurance!!! When you use their car. There's a safety lock device that you have to put a code in or the vehicle won't start. You do that in the beginning of the week. My code didn't work the second week because they texted the same vehicle code. Had to drive to their location because they will not answer the phone. Then wait to be seen. There's a sign in sheet. Took 3 hours out of my day. The vehicle inspection was almost up. They text me to go to the Ogden location to fix this issue. How about you fix your car before renting it to customers American lease. It takes a full day to get a car from them. Slow!!! No wonder they aren't affiliated any longer with the ride share company that rhymes with doober. All their employees are Hispanic. How is that possible in new York where we have the most diverse population in the USA. So after returning the vehicle. They shredded all my documents. They said I owed for tolls. I paid the tolls. Now they took money from my ride share account without stating exactly why. Vehicle related charges. How vague. When you sign the lease agreement. papers. You're giving them the permission to take funds from your account. As you see I've given them 1 star when it should be 0 stars
Suck, suck, suck! My whole building is affected by mice and the super does nothing about it. The lazy super is whole page himself. I and other tenants continue to complain but see 0 results or effort from the building management. The exterminator who is suppose to come every month comes every 5 months. My apartment is kept clean swept and mopped everyday after work but roaches of all size have found ways to take over. It takes weeks for them to fix problems in the apartment. In the winter It's close to zero heat you need to have your own space heater to remain warm. When you never have a late rent payment you expect the efficiency to be applied back to the tenant, not here! If you can live else where do so!
They try to scam you any way possible. One of my rent checks was lost in the mail, so I called and notified them. I also cancelled the check and sent a new one. When the lost check finally arrived they tried to cash it and it bounced, so they charged me 20 dollars. The customer service is the absolute worst. The receptionist is always rude.
Customer service is very good. I always get my apartments through their company. They are effective and I recommend my friends to them. I would not use any one else for my rentals. I feel like family with them.
This place is awful, the mechanic staff unprofessional, they do not want to work and do the bare minimum. They refused to fix my check engine light that was on, they would not change my tires, I got a flat tire just after leaving their facility. I do not know how Uber can do business with this third world country company.
