After meeting with several banks we took out our builder's loan at FNB on Main Street BA. We were (and still are) happy with all aspects of it thus far. They took time a nd explained everything to us as many times as necessary. They also called us and followed up. Treated us average people with kindness and respect from the first meeting. We probably met at least half of the outstanding staff during this process. We are almost finished with the process and they are still answering questions for us and do not seem to mind us asking. They worked with our work schedules a time or two when we were "on our way but were going to be late". We highly recommend this bank. And a huge thank you to everyone who helped us!3/14/2017 update. We have been in our new house for several months now. Every aspect of our builders loan & closing went perfectly. They always responded within an hour of email for money transfer. I like the fact they required the invoice to make sure the invoice matched the progress before releasing funds. That way we didn't pay the builder for something that we shouldn't. I can't think of one thing that could have been better or gone smoother. I highly recommend this bank.
I only gave it 4 stars because I started banking with arvest because of their hours. Now the are as much a burden as all the others. I am at work when they open and still at work after they close.
We had the BEST Customer Service from Tammy Sexton on refinancing our car!! She promptly returned our calls and could not have been more professional. The paperwork was ready when we walked in the door. Everyone at the West Tulsa Branch of Western Sun was wonderful!! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this branch of Western Sun Federal Credit Union.
This bank has poor customer service.I have never had to wait over a week for a deposit. Also, they were very impatient and rude when I needed help with my online account.They also put in random transactions that the customer doesn't need to see.
This is the worst Arvest I have been to. Really? Who writes a review about a bank? Well, when you are fed up of being treated like a piece of garbage, then it's time to type! Almost a year ago my dad died and I went to close/settle his account here. My mistake for picking the most convenient location to do this at. They could care less. There was absolutely no empathy what so ever for my loss, not that I need it from the bank anyway. I have used the drive thru a couple times since then and the ATM, no complaints until today! I went thru the ATM to make a deposit, as normal. I put my money in and then I get a receipt back stating my money could not be returned or deposited and to see my financial institute. WTF?! Okay, I understand the ATM is serviced by a third party but it is still Arvest's responsibility to reconcile the situation. I wait in a long line for about eight minutes. The teller was unapologetic and almost made me feel as if I were an inconvenience. She told me I have to fill out a dispute with the ATM company and to go see a service rep for help. Any question I asked her she replied with, "That's why you have to fill out a dispute". A monkey could do that jerks job better then her. I almost would have rather been dealing with robots! I sit down with the service rep and she isn't any better. After a few minutes of silence I let out a big sigh and then she apologizes for the inconvenience in and insincere tone. Every question I asked was responded like a memorized response. "We [Arvest] can't tell you the time frame. Monitor your account. Check back in 7-10 days" BS, BS, BS... is all I heard. My husband and I have been members at Western Sun for about 6 years now. We've always had good service when we've delt with them but within the last year or so, the level of service has surpassed all of my previous interactions with them. I am a regular member of the Broken Arrow Branch and I love all of the employees there! They are so knowledgeable and I love being able to take care of all of my business quickly and efficiently at one centralized location, since this is their main branch. I really like the tellers at this branch and the receptioNist always greets me with a smile. The main reason for my interest in writing this review is to express our deep gratitude for Kristina Green, our loan officer. She has helped my husband and I alot over the last year and she is our go-to person at Western Sun! She always greets her members with a smile and is one of the nicest most outgoing people you'll ever meet. She is a very busy loan officer, for good reason, but she never fails to create a wonderful experience for her members from start to finish! We could not be happier with Western Sun & we recommend them to all of our friends and family!!!
I got a motorcycle loan and was approved. Been with them 7 months and has paid every payment on time. Now I tried to get a second loan and the underwriter finds some reason to not approve. So then I ask about re financing my motorcycle loan and they said I could. Again the underwriter find some reason not to approve it. Fixing to cancel my direct deposit and empty my account and take them to court for defamation of character. Reasons for not a proving my loan. Calling my 12000 in vehicle calateral prices of cap and bow making up things on my credit.
