Household Self Storage is an excellent storage facility. One of their climate controlled units worked perfectly for me. My antiques were well protected. I also had some electronic equipment and storage media with important records on them. All of my things were in perfect condition. Their customer service was great - very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this business to anyone needing storage space; and I have referred several friends and acquaintances, who needed storage. They all reported excellent experiences there storing their property.
Clean facility. Excellent security. I've used them three times now and have referred friends there. Very professional. Competitive prices. Ended up renting a parking space, a 10 x 20 and a climate control unit & then later rented a 10 x 10 & and a 10 x 15 when I was moving out of one house into another. The latest time I needed to store my boat there. The manager has always taken great care of me, and the prices are better than any other self storage place around. Glad to recommend Household to others.
5 Stars! Very good facility, nice and clean. I've used this facility twice now, and they are the best. The first time I rented a Climate Control unit. I also parked a vehicle there for a shorter time. My belongings including a piano and some antiques were in perfect shape after 2 years. The temperature and humidity inside the building was well controlled in both winter and summer. I needed to store property again while I was selling my house and purchasing another. And again, the Manager helped me a great deal and gave me a very competitive rate - always friendly, helpful and professional. It is also conveniently located to my house. I have recommended Household Self Storage to my friends, and one has already rented there and thanked me for referring him there.
This is an excellent facility. We put our stuff in 1 unit, and then we needed another one. We got a very competitive rate for both units , and the service was super. The manager was extremely helpful, and the place is very clean. I would recommend this facility to anyone wanting storage in a safe place.
Omg do not put your stuff here if you want it safe. I rented a unit for a year and came to get some papers out of it and the storage was completely empty. The manager told me he remembers me telling him I was moving out (never happened). He couldn't produce a date or any type of paper work showing me moving out. I still had the key and everything. I didn't even get an apology. All he could say was he didn't know what happened
The manager has been very helpful in answering questions and working with us. We needed multiple units and he helped get adjacent ones and negotiated a good price.
This facility was extremely fair and competitive in its pricing and the cleanest & nicest I found in town. The manager helped me in every respect and was very accommodating. I rented a unit to store my household goods during the sale of my house, and I ended up renting a parking space also. When the closing on my house was delayed they worked with me on every extension I needed until I finally finished the sale of my house and moved out. I've recommended this business to others and continued to use the parking space for my trailer. Five stars for Household Self Storage!
The woman that runs this place, and I am not using the term 'lady' because she is not even in the ballpark, is rarely ever in the office, very unprofessional, and in the off chance you speak to her she is incredibly rude. This is a very unprofessionally ran storage place. Take your business elsewhere
If I had three thumbs? They'd all be down. Why? Because going in to pay my next month's rent early on approximately the 28th of the month before payment due on the 1st I specifically asked that if I paid that day and moved out in a few days would I be able to get a refund for the remainder of the upcoming month? YES was the answer if I moved out before the 15th I would get a half month's refund. Okay, I can live with that and handed the man my check. I came in on the 5th or 6th and cleared out of the unit and spoke with the same man. He then told me "if I had only paid with a credit card I could've had a refund". I'm sorry but I don't believe the onus is on the customer to find out if I was using the right method of payment to receive a refund. I was there early and was trying to work it out before hand. Twould certainly have been nice if the gentleman would have told me "Great yes, I can give you a refund but ONLY if you pay for the month with a credit card." I certainly would've taken that option. That it was not presented? NOT NICE. Dirty pool and leaves a really bad taste in the customer's mouth. THREE thumbs down! :( The other slight problem was that there was not a working light on my entrance end to an interior unit which I reported the first time I encountered it. Upon return several days later and all subsequent visits the lighted timer switch was still not working which leaves you to walk down a pitch black hallway to find the light switch. An accident waiting to happen.
