I'm male Cape Verdean and they got me a temporary job in Weymouth at Brady Enterprises. I've been there over a year. No benefits, no health insurance. There are many from Brockton who work there. You may get a ride from others that work there who live in Brockton. You need a car to get there, but there is a bus near by. The bus doesn't run for all the shifts. They are usually short of help so if you need a job, they'll get you one whether you're female or male. It's a manufacturing job.

Peggy got me a job at Brady Enterprises in Weymouth at a manufacturing plant. I've been there now 1 year and 2 months. It's a temporary position with no benefits and they started me at $ 9.00 per hour. I told my supervisor that I intend to work elsewhere if they don't get me a permanent position. I do wet vacuuming, fork lift driving, cleaning bathrooms, and cleaning the sugar machine. I had a regular schedule, but since there's a constant turnover of workers and supervisors, I'm getting different days off during the week. I work evenings, but on Saturdays I work the early shift. I works Sundays sometimes, too. You need to have a car to drive to Weymouth and I live in Brockton. At $9 an hour, there isn't enough earnings to pay for a car, gas, car repairs, pay rent, buy food, clothes, etc. I get bleach all over my pants and I need to wear boots to work because there's water on the floors. I got a pay increase to $ 9.50 hour and my supervisor says he's going to put in for me to get $ 10 and make me a permanent employee before he loses me. The powder and sugar gets into your pants and has already clogged my sink which pumps water from my washing machine. Diamond Staffing is now called Corporate Resources at 478 Torrey St. up the street from Job Lot. Go in and apply if your desperate for a job they seem to always need people.
Filled out an application and she sent me to someone in an office who looked at my resume. She said they would call and they never did.
