Great service! After 3 failed attempts to find an electrician ( no returned calls) a coworker referred Mike to us. We where in a pinch with a house for sale that out of no where had some crazy breaker issues. Mike called me back about an hour after I left the voicemail. I explained our situation, he offered to meet me at the house that afternoon. It took him less than 30 minutes to figure out the problem and fix it!! On top of that as I came up from the basement I found him fixing the broken handle on our door that led out to the garage. I can’t say enough, real nice guy, he knew what he was doing and for coming over at 5:00 in the afternoon charged way less than I had expected. Thank you.
Mike was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Mike had several things that needed to be done and he got to work right away. Mike finished the job in a short amount of time, cleaned up after himself and put things back as they were. We were very pleased with his work.
After burning smells were coming out of my breaker box late on a Friday night- I needed someone fast. After calling several emergency companies, this was the only one that responded. He came in a timely manner, did his work professionally, and his bill was very reasonable. I had him come back later and check over everything fully. He's my guy for all my electrical from now on!
I called Electrical Services of Rochester about 8:15 am and Mike was over by 10:00 am. I'm very happy I called him. Mike was very friendly and down to earth. He is very knowledgeable. I'm not to familiar with electric work. but he told me exactly what was wrong. unfortunately, he could not do it, RG&E had to do it because a phase (Leg) was lost it was outside on a telephone pole.. So I gave them a call. And sure enough that's what the problem was. Mike was so helpful and told me exactly what to say to RG&E. If I have another electric problem, I will definitely give him a call again.
On Saturday afternoon as we were preparing to depart for a business related party, half our kitchen shutdown. Since we have lived in this house for only two weeks, finding the proper circuit breaker was a problem. After calling several electricians listed as serving the Hilton / North Greece New York area and receiving either no answer, told they were unavailable, Mike of Electrical Services of Rochester called based upon a phone message in less than 20 minutes. He talked me through not only the circuit breakers but the reset buttons next to the sink in the kitchen. The lights and power to the dishwasher returned. No Charge and a great conversation. Electrical Services of Rochester will be the electrician for both the business and the household. Thank you for great service.
Our call was on a Saturday afternoon and several places we called had answering services. We happened upon Electrical Services of Rochester by doing a Google search. This was the only place that a live person answered the phone. Instead of coming to the house and charging a fee for the trip; Mike (the owner) walked us through possible scenarios and helped us solve our problem over the phone at no charge. We will use him for any future electrical work that needs to be done. Thank you Mike for helping a frightened new homeowner.
Mike is by far the best electrician we have found. I had a difficult issue for my home recording studio that involved EMI, and every other electrician I spoke with was baffled by the discussion.
After a my first conversation with Mike, I knew he was the man for the job, and so we not only hired him for the initial concern but for several others as well. His ability to thoroughly troubleshoot, explain what is going on, and be fair with price and time, far exceeded my expectations.
Mind you, I already had other electricians out, but Mike quickly found and fixed underlying issues that could have cost us our home and our lives.
I am glad to have established this new long-term relationship, and as a rare as it is, I am quite happy to refer him. Don't hesitate, just give him a call.
I have had two occasions to use Mike's services. Both times he came within a few hours of calling. He fixed our problems quickly and was very professional and personable to deal with. The first time, he didn't even charge us to fix a bound pull cord! I have recommended Mike to everyone in our "55 and over" community.
We had a flickering lights/intermittent energy problem that started weeks ago. After calling/inspection from National Grid on a Monday we were told that both our connection on the outside of the house and the main breaker needed to be replaced. National Grid gave us an ultimatum, to either have it replaced or have our power shut off!
We called Mike and he promptly came to do an estimate for the work early that afternoon. His estimate was reasonable and he immediately went to get the parts. Mike and his partner began the work late that afternoon and into the night. Mike ended up replacing the entire service on the outside of the house in intense wind and cold. The quality of workmanship was top notch. National Grid made us wait a day and a half for the inspection in freezing temps. Mike was gracious enough to bring us a generator with gas to keep our sump pump from overflowing! Mike went above and beyond for us, and we are grateful for the quality of service and care he provided.
Mike did a great job with our Aluminum wire remediation he fixed everything by the book. We are now all up to code, and feel a lot safer. Mike is professional and knowledgeable and we feel confident about the repairs he did. We will be using him for any future electrical needs.
Mike was knowledgable and fixed our issues quickly. He explained everything and helped us prepare to eliminate potential future complications. My only complaints are that he left a heavy dresser pulled away from the wall for me to push back, 30 minutes of his time and 1 new outlet installed cost over $115, and he left all the lights on (although that might be so that we could see that they were working again). Regardless, I would recommend Mike for any electrical issues you need fixed in a pinch (he was here soon after I called).
