I ordered food from here and they forgot half my order. They messed up my order and on top of that because I didn't come to the door fast enough they left my food in front of my door on a cold night. I was furious how could someone just leave your food outside. They had a # so they could've called but did not . I have never received such bad service in my life. When I called to ask why it happend all I got was excuses and someone explaining on how the delivery guy is a good guy and not to tell management. This place is only good if your dining in so if they mess up you can directly confront them other than that I would never recommend them to anyone.
I was a loyal customer until today. I mostly ordered delivery and it seemed as though my orders were overpriced here recently. I was never given a receipt for any of my orders until I personally requested one today. I always give a $5-$10 tip to the delivery driver. When I received the receipt, it had a delivery fee scribbled on it down at the bottom. I was never told that Italiano Café charged a delivery fee and wasn't sure if this was done by the driver personally or what. So I called to make sure this was a legitimate business charge. I recognized the person answering the phone as the wife of the owner and tried to speak with her. I asked her if that was their charge .She became immediately defensive and tried to argue with me saying things like, "Mam-you mean you're trying to tell me that you have NEVER been charged a delivery fee from other places EVER before?" Somehow she could not grasp the point that I was trying to help her out by giving her some free biz. advise. I could care less about a delivery fee except that by not informing their customer's of it and trying to hide it was not perfectly legal and will lose them business, like they did today. She passed the phone to someone else and did not bother telling me. She will not be benefiting from my orders anymore and I will be reporting this and the receipt to the proper authorities. Alfredo's in Bristol have the same recipe's with amazing customer service. I personally recommend them to anyone.
My family and I had never eat at this establishment so I called to have food delivered. I was told it would be here within the hour. Well 3 hours later and MANY calls later it finally arrived but some was missing so I called back and was told it would be sent out to me after 2 more hrs still no food so I called and was yelled at and cused by the manager/ owner ?????? Will never eat there again!!!!���� be careful there vicious

I have to agree with the good food but bad customer service. I was waiting on a delivery which was already 20 mins late (only had 30 min lunch at work) and when I called to see what was going on I was yelled at by the owner before he hung-up on me
they have good food but their customer service is awful. I just called them because they charged my lunch (which i was paying by cash) on my friends card and they said they issued credit. I called them and the owner went off and hung up on me and all i wanted to know when it is going back on the card. I called them back and the lady that answered the phone smarted off too. i told her we would never order from them again.

I went for my birthday last weekend and we loved it. The food was great and our service was even better. Never had to ask for a refill or more bread. It was an enjoyable time.
