The young lady that answers the phone is excessively rude I've never met anybody who is so rude at a business she hung up the phone numerous times I have to speak with a manager or supervisor she said that they are not in she doesn't know what time they will come in and she didn't want to give me her name and said she hung up the phone number of times I have never met someone so rude in my life and a business I paid for something and I didn't get all of it and she didn't even give me a chance to tell her that instead she just says what do you want what do you want and he want to give me no information and she just hung up
the rice was under cook it was the frist and last time I will eat from there don't understand how ever one said it was good food

Delivery took forever to show up and the food was questionable. Ordered chicken with broccoli and actually spit out the chicken because it tasted bad.

I’d give no stars if I could!!I ordered food on the Taste of China website at 5 p.m. last night, small order, nothing unusual. Paid for with my debit card. I received the confirming email at 5:03 p.m.At 6:30, when the food STILL wasn't here, I called the restaurant. I spoke with some woman who really couldn't speak english, so I was having a very hard time understainding her. It seemed to me that she was saying "Delivery guy not show up." I kept asking her what does that mean, and she just kept repeating herself. I got frustrated and told her to cancel the order.After a minute or so, I started envisioning the fight I would have getting the charges for the food off my debit card, so I called back. They must have had caller ID, since they wouldn't pick up the phone. I hung up and called back again, this time the woman answered then hung up on me when I asked to discuss my order and/or speak to someone who could speak English with less of an accent.I called again, this time using my cell phone so they wouldn't recognize the number. I finally realized through the broken English that the woman was telling me that the delivery guy was late and I'd get the food faster if I came down and picked it up.Since it was now nearly 7, two hours after my order was confirmed, I agreed to come down and pick it up.I jumped in the car and headed down to the restaurant. Just as I was pulling into the parking lot, my husband called my cell phone to let me know the food had been miraculously delivered!!What a nightmare for a simple meal!As for the food itself, it's OK... just your typical Chinese take-out. Certainly not worth the wait nor the headache! I have been a customer of theirs for around 20 years, since we moved into the neighborhood. Over the years the quality of the food has decreased as has their customer service. I will be finding a new source for Chinese food from now on.
Have been ordering takeout here for the past 6 years...its about a 5 mile drive. Was not in the area and didnt want to drive there as I was short on time. Ordered from a nearby restaurant instead. I was so disappointed with the tasteless food at the local place...plus had a huge headache after eating the food (MSG)) I will ALWAYS make the drive to China Kitchen in the future. Food is GREAT...best we've found since moving to Connecticut!
Bristol has many bad chinese restraurants but there is one that stands out as being really good, fresh,large portions and the best hot musturd sauce that I have had! Also anytime I have asked for extra sauces they always hand it to me with a smile. But Bristol does have many places where you can tell the food has been sitting awhile.
