I was buying this car out of state and 2 different salespeople told me i could purchase the car and drive away the same day so i wouldn't have to drive back out there. I think they just told me that to get me out there bc I was told by the finance mgr that it wasn't possible. It was incredibly hard to get anyone to call or email me back. When it came time to work with my bank for financing they kept sending important documentation to the wrong email so I had to spend several hours communicating between the dealership and my bank just to get all the forms to the right place. It has been almost a month now and i still don't have my registration or plates. I spoke with the finance mgr and she said "I have 100's of customers I don't remember you". The papers haven't even been finalized for processing. I asked what happens when my transfer plate expires she said we'll have to deal with that when it happens. If you want to be lied to until you buy the car then get treated like crap than Crowley is the place to go!
Work was done thoroughly and efficiently. Took my 2017 Forte in for scheduled oil change. Service manager alerted me to two recall notices and these were addressed as well. All personnel were cordial and professional.
The Crowley Kia has the top of the line employees in their business. When ever I have returned to have work done on my vehicle I do feel like a king!! From the first moment to the last second when I leave they have treat me with complete respect and understanding. The two men, Dan and Brian, who receive you and process the vehicle to be passed on to the mechanics are by far TOP OF THE LINE EMPLOYEES!!! They will and have treated me in a positive and friendly way. They will listen to every word you say and will always do your paper work quickly and make it so the mechanic gets it ASAP!! The will answer any question you have and if they don’t know the answer they will get the answer as quick as they can. They have even helped me find a place to practice my very needed golf abilities in the off season. They will speak to you like a friend and will even laugh at all my bad jokes!! I cannot forget to mention how lucky I have been to receive the same mechanic the last three times I have been there (oil change/tune up, tire problem and a technical problem). The mechanic Rusty was a very kind man who took care of the care of my car in a positive way and never have tried to add on parts or labor that was not needed. Each time my car was purring when he completed the work needed done. From the time that I bought my car three years ago to today Crowley Kia has been the best automotive company that I have ever dealt with. These guys who I have come in contact with have made it enjoyable and very easy to deal with!!
Upon arrival, I was greeted by an employee who directed me to the garage for easier access to the Service Department. I was enthused on how friendly the Tech. Team was when I entered and immediately shown to the counter to sign my work order. I was offered snacks and coffee and proceeded to the waiting area. The waiting area has a TV and WiFi for the customers. When my vehicle was done, the work was reviewed with me and he even offered to back out my car. Don't be hesitant to ask any questions because you are not rushed.Crowley Kia should be very proud of their team.
I’m not very happy cause I got a car from them and had it for a month and the transmission went on the car and was stuck in New Britain for 3 hours waiting for a tow truck. I just don’t understand how their mechanics can over look a bad transmission like that and think it’s okay to still sell the car. I already had a bad experience with one dealership already and I hope this place ain’t gonna be the same
I purchased a vw passat the owner agreed to do the work upon my 1st oil change, so I called and was told I needed to leave for an undetermined amount of time, I told him in beginning I would have to wait as I did not have another car, he said ok, but when the time came the story changed, so I went to the dealer. Then came the issues that I know we're present and all they did was disconnect the battery, my engine light came on, and never went off, it failed emissions, which I believe was there from the start, he just wasn't going to fix it without increasing the price, it need a new boot, didn't happen. Be very careful buying here, they will only show 5 star reviews on there site, not sure how many are fake but I'm sure a few are.
I just had an exceptional experience buying a used car at Jay Pahl's Auto Sales and I am Very Happy to have this opportunity to tell you about it! My wife and I were looking for a newer car and came down to Jay Pahl's Auto Sales on 107 Stafford Avenue in Bristol, CT. From the moment we walked onto the lot, the employees and salesperson were attentive and polite. The salesman that I got to work with, Chris Demora, was eager to satisfy my curiosity both about the cars I was looking at, and the process of making the purchase. I am not a typical customer, and my need for information went far beyond your typical what's the price, what can you do for me, what are the specs. Chris stayed with me from beginning to end, with patience and goodwill. I know that salesmen are trained to smile while working with customers, but never for a moment that I doubt that Chris smile was genuine, and that he was as pleased to be sitting and engaging with me as I was talking with him. As my wife took car for test drive with Chris, I spent time with Jay Pahl, the owner, I have to say that Jay was extremely receptive to my technical mechanical inquiries, and I truly felt that he and Chris were conscientiously looking to create a deal that would benefit both Jay Pahl's Auto Sales and us. After closing the deal and driving away in my new car, I felt better than I have ever felt at the end of such an important transaction. I absolutely know where I will be going for my next car purchase. Thank you so much. You Guys are the BEST!!!!!!
The sales management and staff at Crowley are terrific.I just bought my 8th jeep from them - 3 Cherokees, 1 Grand Cherokee and now my 4th Wrangler Unlimited. They are friendly and courteous and give me a great trade-in value along with a very good price on the new vehicle. They go out of their way to accomodate whatever my needs might be for transferring equipment as well as delivery of the new vehicle - they went so far as to give me a loaner for the day so that they could transfer some of my hardware to the new vehicle and have it ready for me that same afternoon.
We had a very positive experience with Bristol Auto Center. They are extremely pleasant and very customer focused. They not only fixed our car, but walked us through each step. I highly recommend them for all your auto care services.
We purchased a 2000 Subaru Outback Sedan from Jay Pahl's auto Sales in June of 2015 for my 16 yr old son. We were told the car had been through a thorough safety inspection as well as mechanical inspection, and the car was sound. The day after we bought it the check engine light came on. We called and were told it was an oxygen sensor and that it didn't need to be fixed, when the time came for an inspection they would get it through inspection. The check engine light was on and off repeatedly, but we were told more than once not to worry about it.In early October 2015 4 months after buying the vehicle, my son was driving the car and the right front tire fell off. Luckily he was driving in a neighborhood at the time, not at high speeds on the highway, which he has just exited. It turned out that the nut that held the tire onto the vehicle was missing, though the cover for it was on the tire... so much for a safety inspection.I called the salesman, Chris, and explained the problem. At first he said that there was nothing they could do. but after explaining that I would be sure to let people know of my experience and that fact that my son could have been killed driving a car that was clearly not safety inspected as they promised Chris agreed to replace the axel and ensure the tires were secure on the vehicle.Recently we had an oil change done at another establishment on the vehicle and found that the seal on the axel was leaking. It needed to be replaced.. and while they had the car they plugged it in to check the code for the check engine light, it was not only for an oxygen sensor but also for the catalytic convert which now also needs to be replaced, another $1200 repair that Jay Pahl was aware of and sold the car under the guise of just an oxygen sensor that needed to be replaced.I would never ever deal with Jay Pahl again. The are quite obviously not honest, and have no concern for safety whatsoever. Anyone who asks me, I warn them and I make sure they know if out experience. what i thought was a safer bet from buying a vehicle from Craig’s list turned out to be no more than a more expensive way of buying a car that is no better than something I could have picked up in the junk yard.I would avoid this business at all costs.
