Horrible and unprofessional. Caught them lying about a part I paid for and had installed that was never the issue and I found out by calling GE myself and brought this up and they were rude and belittling and said why am I spending so much time on this when they said they'd fix it now but wouldn't acknowledge what I uncovered. Michelle kept laughing on the phone while talking to me and said the manager Jim wouldn't talk to me because they had more happy clients they'd rather deal with. So I guess once I figured out the little scam I was involved in and called them out on it they didn't have to deal with me. It cost me 260.00 and all confirmed directly with GE about my fridge issue. GE had no reason to lie since I didn't have them service it and didn't buy the part from them. Kept telling me I was so lucky my part was under warranty and they'd replace it again. Ok replace a part that I thought I got 4 months ago but was lied to and didn't. What favor are you doing me now actually and how can I even trust that you'll be honest and forthcoming this time around. NEVER use them you'll be sorry.
At approximately 2:50 pm Thursday September 11th I contacted this company to come out to repair my furnace. I was given confirmation that they would come on the 12th, the following day. I was told that they would call me before they came out even! Everything right down to the smallest detail...for example, "someone must answer the phone or the service call will not be completed, we need confirmation that someone is home before we dispatch our technician"...I gave them my address, my 2 major cross streets, and agreed to pay them a $90 diagnostic fee. At 7:57 am today, September 12th, my phone rang and it was "Brighton Appliance" telling me that, and I quote "They don't come out that far anymore"! I have NO HEAT, NO use of my furnace and could have spent yesterday finding another company to come out had I been told this yesterday afternoon, now, today is Friday and I am sitting here basically screwed! Thanks a heap Brighton Appliance! I apologize to anyone who finds this review so negative and so vehement in tone but I am so frustrated and angry!!! This is a company that made a commitment to come to my home to repair my furnace and then less than 24 hours later REFUSED to HONOR THEIR COMMITMENT TO COME TO MY HOME BETWEEN 9:00 am and 1:00 pm today, Friday the 12th, stating only that "well the owner says we don't go out that far anymore"......I am approximately 30 miles and 40 minutes away from them. That is a LOUSY excuse in my opinion! To me this made no sense what so ever as I have had companies, service technicians, travel MUCH further to service my home appliances. In the future, I will tell anyone that asks NOT to use them as they obviously don't honor commitments made to customers....Even with an urgent need such as no heat, no use of my furnace, and knowing that there are sick children in the house! DISGUSTING!!!!!! If I could give them ZERO stars, I would!
Second time I have used them in as many years (separate appliances with an issue)... GREAT Service and support each time. Professional service/repair I would reccomend them to anyone.
