I was really dissappointed in my service across the board. Although the food was excellent, the service left a bad taste in my mouth! The waitress was inattentive (in her defense she seemed to have both inside and outside tables). The hostess was MIA and the gentleman who was the manager (Joe?) seemed detached and indifferent. With all of the wonderful restaurants in Brighton, do not waste your time here.
We were a party of 29 (including infants and toddlers) on October 30, 2011. We had a wonderful experience, from the initial call, to the interactions with management and chef, to the friendly and efficient greeters and wait staff, to the delicious food. What an incredible menu! Try the onion soup and the slow smoked ribs. I can't say enough good things about Burroughs Tavern! - Carol Durand
Historic farm that dates back to the early 1800s. Cool place and food so good you'll want to tell people. Worth the drive.
