So extremely disappointed!! These people are liars! They tell you they have a $19.99 oil change special on Thursdays and I ended up paying $49.99! The owner didn't care to tell me that the tire rotation was an extra $21!! DO NOT GO THERE! Go to Firestone in Brick where for $25 they do oil change, fluid check , and tire rotation!. Thos place also charged me $5 for the oil and a $1 for a filter!! NEVER GOING BACK AGAIN!!!
Rip off... Technician was unsure of what he was doing. Rather than being honest he just talked around the issue. In addition the car was not returned as I dropped it off.
This place is the biggest rip off In Ocean County!! Wife went in for an Oil Change... the told her there were $800 in repairs that were needed which included brakes... she didnt know better and agreed.. TRUSTING THEM.. When she told me what happened I immediately went to Affordable and demanded to see the old parts... ESPECIALY since I just had the brakes done 2 weeks prior somewhere else. He attempted to show me rotors that were not even for our vehicle.,, I contacted the gaage that performed the brake job and he stated that they make a small mark on backside of rotor for Identificaction... when I checked the so called NEW Rotors.. they had the mark from previous repair!!!! Meaning... they never did a brake job and charged my wife for it!!! The owner is a scumbag who doesnt know how to talk to people! DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY! I am not the only person this happened to!
These guy are not only honest theyre affordable. It really is hard to find an honest shop nowa days and if you're in need of any auto repair try these guys first. I'm confident you'll be more than happy with the results and rates! They prove this time and time again.

Re: to Matt B. You sure it was Rich? Mainly Jake works the reception, his brother, and I have been going there for over 6 years and they both have been pleasant. I also found them to be honest when they tell me of issues or non issues, whereas other shops always come up with a list of issues. I get the opposite, they tell me if something is worth fixing or not for my cars age/status. I have various people I recommended to go there and they thanks me for the referral as they have been ripped off at other places and were happy to find honest mechanic. Did you initiate a nasty attitude maybe as I have seen folks from these parts bring a bit too much ego and make demands, I can understand having to put folks int heir place although I haven't see it from these two brothers.Looking at your past reviews, you give mostly negative feedback to blue collar workers in general and come off with a bit of attitude, so I can see who initiated what attitude.For everyone else, these are good brothers and crew at this shop. Very down to earth and I recommend.
These guys are great. My car felt funny when driving. I brought it in and my tie rod end was worn out (who knew). They gave me a ride home and picked me up. Got my car back that day and the price quoted was the price. No surprises. Jesse was so helpful.
BUYER BEWARE! Had the mispleasure of meeting Rich in the office dropping off my truck for a break job they quoted me over the phone. Instantly this wanna be tough guy gave me thug attitude when i asked if he could also check out my front breaks as well......when he replied with a hostile attitude, i merely said "yah know what im gonna just take my business else where" he ran from AROUND THE DESK in the office threatening me with bodily harm, and literally shouted threats and profanity at me as left the premisses! ...this guy is completely un stable and has no business dealing with the public!....scary dude. And im SURE this wasn't the 1st time! who else had a violent confrontation with this animal? EXPOSE HIM.

With that being said, I recently took my Jeep Patriot to Al's Auto Repair and was quite happy with the entire experience from beginning to end. For starters, this is the FIRST shop that has followed up on the online appointment system. I've had mostly bad experiences with auto repair shops offering online appointment setups. Some followed up, most didn't. Those that did follow up, did a lackluster job. The website was another indicator that these guys are serious. It was quite nicely done and obviously maintained (not just thrown out on the web with updates every 100 years). This gave me even more confidence that the online reviews I read were genuine and that this shop was serious about it's customers. The services at the repair shop were exceptional. These guys found & addressed multiple issues I had with the Jeep's front end and cooling system. Issues that 2 other mechanics had missed completely. Not only that, they kept me in the loop during the entire process so that I didn't just get a phone call 2 days later with some enormous bill and little explanation. It was beyond a pleasure to deal with these guys. So much that I don't mind the 30 minute hike to get my truck to their shop. That's right I said 30 minutes. And it's worth it. If you want your vehicle fixed, this is the place to go, bar none.
