All of our rescued animals are vetted prior to transport from Tennessee & Arkansas. Upon arrival, rescues are brought to Roosevelt Vet Center in Brewster, NY, to be examined by Dr. Allison Glassman, owner of RVC and Medical Director of Rosy’s Rescue. A health care plan is put in place, age appropriate vaccinations are administered, basic deworming provided, flea treatment provided if needed, fecal samples sent to lab with medication disbursed if needed, canine heart-worm testing if animal is 6 months or older, and preventative flea / tick / heart-worm medication is provided. If further diagnostics are necessary they are performed immediately.

Laboratory Services
House calls are ideal for owners with multiple pets, for pets that don’t travel well in cars and for elderly animals that are difficult to transport. Save yourself the time, trouble and anxiety of taking your pet to the vet and let Roosevelt Veterinary Center come to you! House call services include exams, vaccines, sample collection for lab testing, micro-chipping and euthanasia. Fee is contingent on the client location.

Ranger now is playing with so many of his dog friends, is completely out of his shell, has learned some behavioral tricks, and is SO excited the second we pull into the parking lot and greet the staff. They send videos of how the day is going and how much fun he and his friends are having. It wouldn’t be possible without the AMAZING staff. Everyone there is SUPER friendly, accommodating, and I could go on for hours about how much this place means to Ranger and I! This is the NUMBER ONE place I would recommend to anyone who needs dog daycare or even their vet services.
