        Overall

        We love the academy. My favorite parts are that they send photos and note updates on what my children have done all day, which is something I look forward to on lunch breaks. They are professional and really care for all of the children.

        So happy with The Academy of Maryland farms! They have taken wonderful care of my son since he was 3 months old. It is hard to leave your little one, but I trust them 100% with his care while I am away at work.

        Thank you for brighten my son's world! You made him smile and play and gave him the confidence to be in social! I have to say thank you to his knowledgable and patient teachers Mrs. Walson and Mrs. Shani and all other staff. You make me feel proud of my little one!

        They fed my baby another baby's bottle once. Then they didn't feed my baby on another occasion. I had sent two bottles, and noticed the baby had only been offered one of those. When I asked the caregiver about it, she said she had just "forgot" to feed it to the baby.

        As the Director, I am very interested to know who wrote this review and did you make it by my office to discuss these allegations? If so, I do not recall having that conversation. If not, then perhaps closed communication with your child's caregivers is not effective, if in fact your concern is with the care of your child. Posting a review that reflects negatively on our center, isn't nearly as effective as speaking to us directly, so we have the opportunity to address the problem. As a parent myself, I could never imagine remaining "anonymous" when it came to allegations such as my child not being fed. Serious accusations such as these should really be addressed so to find out what the problem was, if it actually happened, and ultimately find a solution. My commitment to quality and service can only be accomplished with open communication from parents, not through anonymous complaints.
