I take my dog to doggy daycare at least 3X per week and love it. The staff is very friendly and loving and consistent! I have seen little or no turnover in the staff in almost 2 years - and that's a big plus in dog care. I wish they had someone who stayed with the kennel overnight, that would be make me feel better about overnight boarding, but it's still a very good place to board your pet. I don't think the grooming is all that great, but the vets and assistants are very caring and competent.
I definitely would recommend Crossroads! I take my dog there 5x a week for interactive day care. She runs off tons of energy with her regular day care pals, it's fantastic. They have a great outdoor area as well as indoor play area when it's too hot or the weather is bad. The staff is super friendly and I think almost everyone had learned my name and my dog's name by the 2nd day. The vets and vet techs are great and have helped my dog get over all her ailments (which is a regular occurrence!). The location is in the heart of Coolsprings which makes pickup and dropoff an ease for me, especially with their convenient hours. I'm so glad I'm a part of the Crossroads family!
When I picked my dog up from being groomed at Crossroads , I was surprised that she didn't come bouncing over , but waited for me to pick her up in my arms to go. I noticed that her cut wasn't too snazzy, and on closer inspection I saw that there were 4 pretty good nicks on her body, legs,and abdomen, and when I put her on the ground to walk out , she hesitated to put weight on her rear leg.
I asked to speak to the manager, but was told in an arrogant tone that she was ""busy"" and that I would need to make an appointment with her the next week to discuss it.
The kind and eloquent receptionist told me ""to take her home and she'd get over it"" , and that ""none of the other customers have complained"".
I took my dog straight to her usual veterinarian , who confirmed that she had sustained a fracture to her leg, and as she showed no signs of injury prancing into Crossroads that a.m., it was undoubtedly due to either falling off of the grooming table, or from being held in place by that rear leg during grooming.
I understand that accidents happen, but the combination of this ""accident"", the rude and uncaring attitudes of the staff, and the managements failure to respond to an issue of great concern nothing but REALLY SCARY.
I boarded my dog at Crossroads, and specified that he needed to be fed the special diet that I gave them for a medical condition. The manager spoke with me and assured me that he would be given special attention. When I picked him up he looked awful - he was trembling, his feet were filthy from standing in a dirty run, and his eyes were glazed - The handler who brought him out was aloof and rude, and handed me the FULL bag of special diet that I had labeled and specified to the management that Harley HAD to have it. No-one behind the desk seemed to care , and when I asked to speak to the manager they replied "She don't mess with the boarders - you need to make a vet appt" - I had seen her walk by in the back but opted to just pay my bill and get Harley to a place that stood behind their promises and cared about the well being of their clients. My vet. met me after hours as he knew how Harleys health had declined, and after several days on IV fluids and meds Harley was back to his normal routine. I would not reccomend this place to my worst enemy -
Crossroads never called to check on Harley - I was not surprised.

I am a new customer to Crossroads. I am very impressed with their boarding facilities and vet care. After my Mother died, I had to board her cats as I could not take them. The wonderful staff took care of them, played with them, and helped me find a great home for them both. A couple of weeks later, I needed to take a trip out of town and used them to board my two Westies - one of whom was having allergy problems and losing hair. The vet did an excellent job of diagnosing what was wrong and starting a treatment program which is working wonderfully. They let the dogs have play time (the cats get this too!) which was great - doggie day care! I had the dogs groomed while they were there and this is the best they have looked after a grooming. It is obvious their groomer knows what he/she is doing. I have had them professionally groomed many times and have never really been happy - until now.
I have NO reservations at all about recommending the boarding facilities which are clean, neat, and look like a fun place to hang out for pets. I also have NO reservations recommending anyone on staff. They are all kind, caring, professionals who quite obviously love animals.

My dog, a Jack Russell Terrier, has a lot of energy so when I moved to Middle TN I was looking for a doggie day care to keep her out of trouble. I tried several different facilities and have been taking her to Crossroads for 2 years now. During this time I have switched my Vet to them, had my dog board with them several times and even had her visit the groomer. I'm completely satisfied with their level of service. Everyone from the dog ""sitters"", to the vets, to the front desk ladies are friendly and courteous. They all understand that this is my baby and I trust them to make sure she is will taken care of. I would highly recommend any of their services.

We have been with Crossroads for about 5 years now. Originally, I took both my Boxers there for vet care and occasional boarding. In January 2006 we suffered a house fire, and the dogs needed someplace to stay while I sorted things out. They basically lived at Crossroads for an entire month, and it became their home away from home, and I was able to visit with them daily. Once in our new home, we have continued our relationship with our extended family at Crossroads. Last year it was necessary to euthanize the older dog, and having been through the experience several times before, I have to tell you the staff made this the absolute Best experience under the circumstances for us. I am a healthcare professional and have had dogs all my life, and I do not hesitate to recommend Crossroad's services. Best Regards, Sydney's Mom

We recently boarded our dog for a week at Crossroads. In addition to boarding we requested four hours a day of play time and a bath before we picked up the pooch. When we arrived to pick him up we were handed the bedding we had left with him. It reeked and was soaked with urine. When our dog was brought out, he smelled terrible too. In fact it was painful just to ride home with him.
Now this isn't some large, dirty dog. He's an 8 lb. miniature dachshund with short hair! He's housebroken and has been crate trained since he was a puppy. To release him in this condition was inexcusable.
I sent an email to Crossroads through their website expressing our dissatisfaction but have heard no reply. I probably wouldn't have even posted a negative review if we had simply received an apology from the doctor or staff. Obviously this is not a place I would recommend nor will ever use again.

i had the most wonderful experience at crossroads! Dr Grace and Dr Bruce (relief vet) are so sweet to my animals and loving. They take such good care of me and my animals. I can not imagine someone having a bad experience with either one of these great vets. If you take your animal to an expert in the field (like crossroads) you really should listen to their advice. It is in your 'babies' best interest! Thank you both for always answering my questions with professionalism and honesty. It is refreshing to know that people, other than myself, care just as much for my animals!! Thank you!!

I've been taking pets to Crossroads for a few years now and have always had a great experience. The staff answers all of my questions completely and explains everything thoroughly. My puppy HATES having her nails trimmed and fights it all the way. The staff laughs it off and makes me feel okay about my dog's attitude problem. They remember her name and are always excited to see her. I feel comfortable kenneling her there because she always comes out happy.

I was satisfied with my service at Crossroads Pet Professionals until the staff and vets rudely accused me of not loving and caring for my pets. I equate that with being told I'm not a good mother, and in my book that's the lowest of lows. Dr. Grace apparently thinks belittling customers over the phone is good business practice. They treated my pets (my babies) fine, but apparently they care little for expanding that decency to owners. The lack of respect and attitude received was more than enough for me to take my business elsewhere. Beware of very low grade customer service here.
