South Texas Tack

I placed numerous orders via on-line last year and received excellent service and free shipping. Order placed on Tuesday, product received Wednesday or Thursday. They have recently started charging shipping and their policy states that all shipping within the United States is via UPS. My order was placed on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 and received notification that my product would not be delivered until Wednesday, January 10, 2018! I live approximately 65 miles from the store and my order is now sitting in the Houston area until sometime next week. The store did not follow it's policy and ship via UPS, I spent over $10.00 to have FedEx store my order for a week. This is unacceptable. I called the store and they said you have the option to request UPS or FedEx but they do not notify you of the option or that it is even an issue. I find this completely unacceptable and will no longer order from South Texas Tack. Their resolution of the situation was completely unprofessional.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience! I originally called this store to see if they did saddle fittings. Steve the owner helped me out and we scheduled a date for me to come in. Throughout the whole process he was so helpful. Going back and fourth and teaching me everything I needed to know with no guarantee I would buy something from him. I ended up leaving there that day with a few purchases (They had a ton of cute tack/clothes). Went home to think about it all and ended up going back to purchase a STT saddle. It was the best decision I could've made. The saddle is so beautiful and well made. It fits my horse perfectly and she's getting around the barrels better than ever! I would recommend this shop for anything you need especially saddles. If you ever have a problem just ask for Steve!

Terrible customer service. They do not offer refunds on anything! We returned boots in the box, with tags, a receipt, no scuffs, and they refused to offer a refund. They were also closed from Christmas through New Years, so I couldn't even exchange the gift. Very high prices, zero customer service. Don't even stop here. Total ripoff!
