        If you love fresh craft beer on tap this is the ONLY place in town. New craft beer selections almost every week keep me coming back. And Sundays can't be beat -- $2.50 pints all day. Live music on weekends, often with Irish rock bands, make for a fun evening on the town. I'm so glad Waxy's is under new ownership/management because it's improved dramatically from just a few years ago, including the food. The food is great and waitstaff are super nice.

        I was so disappointed in Waxy's I am not sure where to begin. The food, even after I sent it back (twice) was unetiable. The place was about as Irish as the basement of Elvis Presley's. The waitress was unfriendly to the point of almost rude. It was one of the worst restraunts I have been in Southwest Missouri.
