So far all I have had is phone contact.. but much nicer than the other choice. All I can do is to let plp know about the bad experience at the other Nissan dealer in Meridian. New South needs new employees.. I have spoken top the owner and he sound very caring. Just not sure why he can't see all the problems more plp need to speak up! New South Experiences:. I have been to this dealer 4 times for service and more than I can count trying to get service set up. The 1st time was for a recall on my nissan truck. Many things went wrong from the very start. The rep ordered the part and would call when it came in so I waited a few days and called to see if it was there ... it was not ordered!! Okay so now the part was ordered and once again they will call upon arrival of the part. Waiting Waiting .. Left town for 3 weeks on vacation. Come home and called they sent the part back because we did not have the repair done in a timely manner!!! ( I was waiting on the call.) Reordered part took it in.. "we will call you when it's ready", the end of the day came no call. So I called they did not have it ready. The job should have taken 2 hrs (per the rep) I dropped it off early that morning there was no reason not to have to finished. They had the truck for 2 whole days. (AND they do not offer "loaner" cars!!!) This is also true about the 2nd trip in only for the fuel pump they did order the part when they said they did and they didn't return the part. Still no respect for the time of others!! Oh don't think I'm stopping there ... One of the back seat belts on my 06 Ford Focus stopped latching, so I called to get price of part and job ...$60 - 75 for part and install doesn't include tax.. Ok we can do that .. ordered the part and WAITED on a call .. tried to call a few times, left some messages (not returned), had front desk walk over some messages (not returned)! So I load up the 3 kids inwhich one had to sit in the front due to the seat belt (VERY UNSAFE) and drove over. The guy was nice so I tried to be. He asked me to come back in a few days. Sir, it is unsafe fro me to drive over with the kids buckled like this.. and I continued to explain the phone calls I had made. (he was still very nice even as I started to rant) Finally the part arrive after the same BS for about another week and half.. got it fixed .. got the bill $$314.00 .. OHHH NO .. So what do I do we can not pay that? SO I called him out on it he took the labor off and I still paid twice as much as I should have. So now we are at the latest recall on this truck, whick has become a very bitter love/ hate relationship ... love the truck hating Nissan right about now!!! This dealer ship does not understand people have a life and better things to do than call everyday waiting on a part!!! I have called everyday for about 2 1/2 weeks for this part so I could make an appt. I called today and they have the part and the job takes about 3 hrs. The rep stated they have ten parts and can only do 2 a day. Okay I get that. So call I make an appt. for Friday, because that would be perfect for me? My little girl goes to school until 1 pm on Friday and I can take the baby to the mall for a few hrs (It's a 10 min walk). NOPE they don't make appts. So they pretty much want you to call to see if they have a part for your truck drive to the other side of town and wait to see if they can get you in.. they will drop you off somewhere or take you home but that still leaves you with no transportation a place where there is no city transport system and no way to do take care of other things that may have been planned on any given day. I know my grammar and sentence form may be off a lot. I am by far not a writer and a just a little heated and the moment. I hope you find this is helpful.
Garrick was one of the best people to work with. He was more than a salesperson. He understood what we were looking for in a vehicle, he was very knowledgeable, but hassling for a sale was NOT his top priority. Meeting our needs with the best product was! Jeff and Colton did an awesome job! We drove from Monroe, LA to see if we could get a better deal than what we were offered in our hometown. We got a much better deal, and the salespeople were very nice, technological, and informed about their inventory. We didn't get any of that from the dealerships in Monroe.
Great service - This was my first oil change on my brand new car. It didn't take as long as expected. Would definately come back for the rest of my oil changes. Got a free tire rotation with my first oil change.
