Had a terrible “buying” experience here. Buying is in quotes because they ended up convincing me to lease instead through flat out lies and half truths (such as pushing a fantastic leasing rebate several times only to find out later it was for a specific term length and the leasing person chose another term lease without telling me it didn’t qualify for the $5500 rebate she kept mentioning, and telling me flat out that there is NO termination fee, that Kia doesn’t have that and I just hand the keys back in – later found a “disposition fee” and was told well no, there isn’t a fee… DOT DOT DOT… IF you buy another Kia, that should have been part of her initial answer). I’ve given feedback and NEVER been contacted, they don’t seem to care at all that I was unhappy with the experience and felt deceived.
Now less than a month later my door handle is broken – pulls too far out and jams in that position so my driver door won’t open. Called TWO WEEKS ago and let them know about the problem but they insisted I bring it in to look at before they order the part (how many parts could it be with such a specific problem) so my fiancé took it in (so they could have been very pleasant to deal with, I’m not sure) and of course they don’t have the part so have to order it. Was due in in five days. On day 6 after no word we call to find out it’s on back order and they don’t know when it will be in. It’s been almost two weeks now. The guy also said when he took it in they’ve seen a few of these and think there may be a recall for this issue on this car – if you knew that in advance why make us waste our time taking the car in when you know you don’t have the part?! So I still have a messed up brand new car, waiting on them to get around to fix it, definitely what you want a month into having a brand new car, and especially when you didn’t care for their customer service to begin with. Not impressed by Brandon Kia – at all. Would not recommend it.
