We moved to the Riverview 3 years ago from the Westchase area and were looking for a good quality place to take our business, Divine Salon seemed to be the place; and it was for a while. Quality stayed the same for the last 2 years and customer service has been declining, this last year the overall quality and cleanliness of the place is clearly down; customer service has declined sharply to say the least.Five issues this year so far and the one on Saturday was the last. They have lost us as customers. And with that our +$3k we spend there.This happened this Saturday (11/4/17). I showed up for a haircut as the person I cut my hair, in another salon, with now was on vacation. My 4-year-old decide that he wanted to tag along, as he has done multiple times with my wife and me, and we got there to be received by an overzealous receptionist that right way made me know kids were not allowed in the salon; I told her he's been back before and never had an issue. Instead of checking me in, she decided to call the manager and not check me in. A person that I have never seen in the salon before showed up, claiming to be the manager, and quoted some bogus county code (my lawyer checked and there is no such code, so this is now a discrimination case) as the reason for not letting us in; so, when I asked her "Are you expecting me to leave my 4-year-old in the waiting room?", she had said NO, HE CANNOT STAY HERE EITHER...so is this person expecting me to leave my kid in the car or what?. Two more customers where there and clearly got irritated at this blatant mistreatment. At this point, I did not give two dams about my appointment and left. Called the BBB from the car and filed a complaint and now I am taking this online.WE WILL NEVER GO BACK. WE WILL LET EVERYONE WE KNOW AND HAVE RECOMMENDED TO THAT PLACE TO STOP GOING.TO THE OWNER: When your processes and paperwork get in the way of the customer experience, you need to rethink the way you do business. Not sure you know what type of business you are running, what is not is a financial institution or a mortgage company...they do not even ask for that much forms and paperwork. You are in the SERVICE business and accommodating your customers should be your ONLY and MAIN priority.

First time the girl was sick while giving my massage, get a credit. Second time girl said yes I spoke with you but I forgot to book massage. ( Owner called said sorry she is college student she messed up). Third time booked facials for me and my and massages after. Sorry we can give you facials but not massage , girl called n sick. Once ok, twice maybe but three times. Like I said send your money elsewhere.
I've never been disappointed! I've had my haircut by multiple stylist and loved my cut each time. And they have always gotten me in for a same day appointment!

Unfortunately, 1 star is still better than the experience that I had with them! I'm 5 months pregnant and I was looking for a little pampering. I found a Groupon for $69 which included 1 hour massage, 1 hour facial and a foot detox. I called to make my appointment and they were able to get me in 4 weeks later. I indicated that I was pregnant, which they said would not be a problem and they would note that on the appointment so they would get the proper person to give me a pre-natal massage. The day of my appointment, I show up at 1:45 to fill out any paperwork and Deborah told me that she was waiting for the therapist to show up and that they were not able to do my foot detox because I was pregnant, I asked her why no one called me and she didn't give me an answer. At around 2pm, she called someone (I think that she was faking being on the phone) in the other room and said ' Oh she's early' she then told me that my appointment was at 3pm, so I went home and decided to come back at 3pm. On the way home, I checked my messages and I received a call about 10 mins after I left and one earlier that morning. The voice message was to confirm my appointment at 2pm. I show up again at 3pm, and Deborah said that she apologized that the therapist didn't show up and that she could re-schedule me AFTER the pregnancy. I told her no and that this was unacceptable. She let me know that she's not sure what happened and that she wouldn't give me my money back. I started getting angry and asked why her business would schedule me and indicate on the website that they did prenatal when they don't, and she just gave me a look said she needs to take that service off her website and that I would have to call Groupon to get my money back. I would tell anyone who is even thinking about this place not to go, the owner herself has no idea about customer service and obviously does not care about the business and how to manage clients. I called Groupon and they were able to give me my money back. HORRIBLE PLACE! Even if the Groupon looks good... Don't do it!!
