Nice facility but horrible management!!!! The Manager, George perhaps??, treated us terribly. On the way to the movies we decided to see it we could play mini golf instead. We stopped in and the attendant said they were open until 9pm so we skipped the film and decided to play golf. At 7:30pm she said that we needed to leave because they were actually closing at 8pm. She said she had made a mistake and had told us and about several other families who were still playing the wrong closing time. When I asked the manager for a refund, he refused! He said we had "some play time" (about 20 minutes after getting our clubs and balls) , therefore he would not refund our money. WHAT, we just missed the movies and got kicked out on fathers day!! After a heated debate he offered me passes to come back again. I refused them because I was disgusted with the horrible customer service. How difficulty would it have been to stay open for another 30 minutes instead of kicking us out??? The manager then threatened to call the police. When I agreed that this is exactly what he should do because I wasn't leaving without a refund he refunded part of the moneyand told me to leave and never come back. Upon leaving the pro desk, he escorted me out. My husband approached him to try to understand how he could run a family business this way and he yelled at him stating that it was trespassing and that he was going to call the police. My husband asked him his name and he would not answer. My son asked him why he shorted the refund and he then refunded the rest and said get out now. My husband told him that he was behaving stupidly in spanish, which appeared to be his native language. At this point he replied in spanish and said that my husbands mother and myself were prostitutes. He went in and locked the door so that no other families could enter and ask for their money back. THIS IS NOT A NICE FAMILY PLACE!!!! I hope that this gets to the owner because we run family entertainment centers and employees like this man are poison to a business! The female attendant made a simple mistake but there were a number of ways to handle the situation that would have kept the customers happy and would have cost the business very little money and effort. Perhaps this is the business and family culture at Branchburg Family Golf Center.
