Come in and say hi!
Located on US41 (14th St. W.) two (2) miles north of the Sarasota/Bradenton airport.
I have owned Toyotas since 1973. And...I have always been very happy with my veivhles. Gettel toyota is always very professional..never any sneak repairs...I am always given a list of suggestions with pricing,,,and always the decision to make the repairs or not is up to me. I have never met a rude or annoyed employee...regardless of my decision...I am always treated with respect and a smile! I have always recommend Gettel to others..and will continue to do so. Gettel has my "thumbs up" in all areas of customer service and knowledge for their vehicles. Thank you Gettel!
I bought a Corolla last March and the process was handled in a respectful and courteous fashion. The total opposite of another local dealer. There was no pressure and my salesperson, Javiar, was extremely helpful and low keyed. I went in for my first "free" service and everyone was polite, efficient, and friendly. They had an extremely nice waiting room. Just yesterday, after being parked in a lot, I noticed someone has scraped the side of my new car with black paint. I took it back to Gettel Toyota, as they also have a Collision Center. They quoted me a very reasonable price, a very nice young man took care of me immediately (Hunter) and was able to arrange to get it painted right away. Then a shuttle took me directly home. Later that day, the shuttle picked me up and took me back to my repaired car. It looked brand new! It was an extremely pleasant experience for an unexpected situation. I would recommend this dealership to everyone.
I definitely wanted to let you know the team I worked with were great! Tina, James and Carlos were all very helpful and friendly as well as efficient. Everything from returning my phone calls promptly to driving an hour and half each way to pick me up. They made the process painless. Buying a car is not my favorite thing to do. But, it was a pleasure doing business with your dealership. I will definitely tell my friends and clients about the service your team provided me. For my next car, which will most likely be a Toyota, I will certainly contact your dealership first.

I ordered some parts I needed for a repair. On a positive note, when I called to check if they arrived on schedule, I was told that they did. I ordered an exhaust pipe, and the two gaskets and clamps it needed for installation. I walked in and handed my ITEMIZED receipt to the guy behind the counter in the parts department. He took the reciept and returned with the exhaust pipe. I walked out, and realized that the gaskets and clamp were not there. I went back in, and he said, ""Oh, it's missing some parts."" He went back to get the other parts, and returned with one gasket and one clamp. Before I walked out, I realized that I still needed the other gasket. I went back up to the desk and said, ""I paid for two gaskets, and you gave me one."" At this point, the guy turns to another worker and says, ""Oh, you didn't give her the one we have in stock?"" As if all three of us had not been standing right there the entire time, and as if there was any chance this guy could have given me the fourth part. So the first guy goes back for the third time, and finally hands me the other gasket.
I head over to MIdas to complete the repair (they quoted me a much better price than the dealer--30% less), and a few hours later they call me to report that the repair is complete, despite the fact that the Toyota dealer had sold me the WRONG gasket, and had not included the needed bolts to install the part. The Midas shop was kind enough to throw in some parts at no cost, in order to complete the repair.
I went back to the Toyota dealer to return the gasket, informing them that they sold me the wrong one. They wordlessly refunded my money, with no apology whatsoever. If the guys at MIdas (on Manatee Ave.) did not happen to be so nice, my car would still be in disrepair, and I might be stranded.
In conclusion, Gettel Toyota-Kia sucks, and they are lucky I did not go postal in their shop. A relative of mine who lives in Bradenton (independant of this incident) has sworn off Toyotas, not because they are not great cars, but because she refuses to deal with these people.
