I returned the rental after 24 hours usage and was rudely dressed down by a young black lady for smoking in the vehicle. I did NOT do so which was why I was outside smoking when I returned it. I asked for a manager who opened the door to the return and couldn't smell anything. She gave me the stink eye-up until my transaction was completed. I will NEVER use this branch again.There's too much competition to accept this attitude when dealing with MY money.

Very well run franchise. Friendly, prompt service. Picked me up at auto body shop and returned me to shop when repairs were complete ... a real convenience.
We found that renting a car vs. paying for parking at TPA was a much better deal. Also, we live closer to 817 1st St. E. Bradenton vs. the Sarasota/Bradenton Airport so convenience is a plus. We have always received great service with smiles and very personable employees. As a side note, if TPA needs a certain type of car, we have been upgraded at no charge on a number of times. We will continue to utilize this facility in the future.

I recently rented a Cargo Van from Enterprise. Or so I thought. I reserved the van online. In fact, I rented Cargo Vans for three rentals in the coming year. We’re a small non-profit and need the vans for some special events we have coming up on our schedule. We need additional rentals as well in 2016, 2017 & 2018.I called the rental location a week and a half prior to my pickup day to confirm the van would be there. The Cargo Van was important, we were moving a lot of equipment and supplies. I arrived at 7:30am. I needed rent the van, load it and be on the road by 9am.When I arrived I was told there wasn’t a Cargo Van available, would a truck work? I asked where the van was and they said that Fedex had them and hadn’t returned them. I asked why someone didn’t call me. They didn’t answer.I explained a truck wouldn’t work, some of the lighter things we were moving were in file boxes and would fly off the truck. She then asked me if I could use a “stow and go” passenger van where the seats folded down into the floor. Since it was all they had I looked at it. It was smaller, a lot smaller. It would be very tight. I said OK and we went to do the paperwork.Since we’re a small non-profit, we use debit cards for everything, no credit cards. I went to give them the card and they said they needed additional documentation, my insurance card, and either a utility bill or a pay stub. I was never told I needed this documentation. I asked if I could use a computer. They let m access one, one with Internet Explorer 8. It was out of date; I couldn’t get State Farm’s website to work properly. I had to go home at that point and print out the insurance card and my pay stub.By this time it was now 9:30am and almost 10am when I got back to load up the van. We had a team of volunteers waiting for 2 hours to load the van. Never mind that we also had a team of volunteers in Orlando waiting for me for 3 hours to unload the van.We loaded the van and when it was packed we still had 4 boxes left. We were able to unload one box and place items from it in spaces. Unfortunately we needed everything and had to change what we were planning at the last minute leaving three boxes behind.The entire thing was a disaster. Everything was timed down to the minute. Volunteers were scheduled at the pickup and drop off locations who were kept waiting for at least two hours. The later time for the pickup resulted in needing the van for an additional day, incurring more charges than we had budgeted. The entire rental was a disaster. We’re now looking for a company that has cargo vans onsite that we can expect to view in advance of our rentals and make sure they know our needs since Enterprise never went out of their way for us.
While the service I received from Ally was outstanding the quality/cleanliness of the car was atrocious. Could not see out of the windows, I had to clean the car myself in order to drive it. There was something splashed all over the roof inside the car. They may have run it through the wash but they didn't rinse it. It looked as though a flock of birds relieved themselves all over it. Just a horrible condition to give to a customer.
I got a fantastic car for my weekend beach vacation .....and they came and picked me up :)

This Enterprise location is the absolute worst. I waited 45 minutes to get my reserved rental car (there was only 1 other customer in the room). This caused me to be late to work. There were several customer service people at this location but only one young woman was available to assist me, and she was busy trying to cover the phones as well. She was also the only person with a smile. Everyone else seemed unhappy or too busy to deal with customers. The Kia Rio seemed roomy enough, however the suspension was terrible. I had reserved a Chevy Spark which was unavailable. I drove from Florida to South Carolina and came home with a sore neck & back.; thanks Enterprise. When I returned the car, I also had to wait over 20 minutes and the young man who helped me said, ohh, we would have given you an instant upgrade had we known that you were driving to S.C.!!! Ouch, that hurt. I wanted to just scream, but none of the business suits would have looked up from their computers anyway, so why bother. Sorry for the rant, but I was hit up twice by Enterprise to post a review.
