I was searching for someone to lead me in the right direction. I had places tell me that my car was not worth repairing. i drove into Anderson Auto Repair and Danny found a broken pcv line that not only was causing my car to spit oil but made it run horribly. He charged me a half hour labor and the part which was under 10 bucks. I dont think I can buy a car for that. Thanks Danny for the great service

I'm not the person to waste time writing reviews but I am a person that cares about wasting/saving money on my vehicle. Anyway, my vehicle (2003 Saab 9-3 Turbo, 5 speed) started having problems with putting the car into any gear when the vehicle was cold and was getting worse. You almost had to force it in to be able to shift. (oh and putting it into reverse wasn't happening, it would just grind at you) So I took it to one shop first who said right off the bat it needed a tranny flush. Straight from the owners mouth too! (Jim Queen's Transmission) Uh hello, (to the people that don't know cars very well, like myself) manuals don't get transmission flushes since they run mainly off of gear oil. So I was referred here by a worker at the Desoto Square Mall's own car shop. (Sorry kid I can't remember your name.) Anyway, I took it and spoke with the owner Daniel and after telling him the problem, he told me almost instantly what he thought it was. (He ended up being dead on) So I handed over my car. (also needed a few other things replaced too and was expecting other problems) And here are all the things I had to replace. The tranny, (bad syncros on mine btw and he got me a used one with only 32k miles on it also with a 1 year nation wide warranty included. 100,000 miles less than mine btw) I also needed a new rear main seal, a fly wheel, and slave cylinder. (all new parts other than the tranny, I think) I also mentioned to him that the AC/heater fan went out so they checked it out for me. Get this, he told me all it was were some bad wires. He replaced the wires and now it works great. (BTW, he could of lied to me and said it was the blower motor or compressor but instead was honest and not to mention he did it for FREE! Anyway, I'm planning on taking it for a long distance drive so they literally looked at the car from head to toe. (Some things I didn't get replaced since I can do but still good pricing) But while it was already there, I had him change the oil (full synthetic btw) put two BRAND NEW tires on, somehow they got my rear, passenger window to roll down that wouldn't....and for FREE, again! (I also didn't even mention this problem to them) After everything said and done, also including labor...I walked away with a bill off.... $2,365. Are you kidding me!!!! Most transmission shops alone will charge close to if not over 3 grand just for the transmission alone! Yea it was "expensive" but for what they did and all the new parts, (excluding tranny) not to mention the honesty (which is priceless) It was a GREAT deal. (my personal mechanic even agreed that it was a great price) Yea I know, I purchased the car for about $3,500 but what else were my choices? Go use the $2,300 to buy a used car and hope that it is more reliable than my car is now after the repairs? I think not...plus my car is my baby and looks NICE! Overall, from what I was told and went through, this place would get 6 stars if possible. Great, nice, honest staff and it's right next store to a NAPA part store. Quick and the price speaks for itself. If you are having car problems, I recommend ONLY going here, "USA TRANSMISSION." Hopefully I don't have to see them soon, but if I do, I know where I am taking my vehicle. Thanks again Daniel and your crew for everything!
These are dishonest, lying, incompetent crooks. I took my wife's car in for an AC problem early Friday morning. They called me later that day and said she had a high pressure valve leak and it would be $200. I gave the go ahead and they called me Saturday afternoon to say it was ready. We picked it up and the AC stopped working a half mile later. They had told me their work was guaranteed.It was too late to take the car back and they were closed Sunday and Monday. We returned Tuesday at 0700 and left the car. The manager, Jason, called me around 10am and said the evaporator was leaking and it would cost an additional $1150. They had the car for 2 days prior and supposedly use dye to check for leaks but could not find it? He replaced a part that had already been replaced a month before. They made excuses for being incompetent but I gave him the go ahead to fix it as my wife will not drive without AC and I was having to use her car. So he promised the car in 2 days. I went by on Wednesday afternoon to check the progress as the hurricane was coming and they had not even touched it. I had had it with these idiots. I asked for a refund of my $200 as they had not fixed anything and I doubt they actually even did the dye test which they charged me $150 for. The owner, Darren, refused to credit my money back. I asked to see the part he had replaced but he didn't have it. I doubt he replaced it. We argued and he put his hands on me. I told him to never touch me again or I would file assault charges. I left. This is a very bad outfit. I advise everyone to stay away. I intend to pursue the $200 in small claims and I also considering filing assault charges.
