Holmes Beach / Anna Maria Tour On this tour gliders will Segway from our shop on Historic Bridge Street and head north through Holmes Beach, the largest of Anna Maria Island's three municipalities. Holmes Beach is located between the towns of Bradenton Beach and Anna Maria. The community hosts many of the island's fine dining establishments, lodgings and shopping centers to delight your palette and soothe your soul. Continuing north, our Segway Tour Guide will take gliders through Anna Maria Beach. Gliders will visit historic Pine Avenue, photo stop at the Old City Jail, City Pier, The Galati Mariana, and Bean Point. What makes Anna Maria so attractive to Segway Gliders is its private island feel ….so book early and go back in time with this little island paradise. “NEW” Coquina Beach / Leffis Key / Long Boat Key Tour On this new breathtaking tour, gliders will Segway through Bradenton Beach; this is one of the nicest beaches on Anna Maria extending from 5th street to 13th street along the Gulf of Mexico. This is a family oriented beach with plenty of kids who know how to use a skim board, build sand castles and fly a kite. The water is typically calm with light surf. Sandy dunes, Australian Pines and Sea Grapes shade the sidewalks for the Segways. Next it’s onto Cortez Beach and Coquina Beach. Coquina Beach, located on the south end, is the longest stretch of beach on Anna Maria, with plenty of free parking, lifeguards, concessions, picnic tables, a playground, restrooms and showers. Remnants of old piers jutting out into the water (dividing sections of the beach) make it a choice spot for surfers. As you Segway along the wide sidewalks, it’s also the place where you’ll mostly find younger groups of people gathering around a radio, sunbathing, or playing Frisbee on the sand. The Coquina Bay Walk at Leffis Key offers footpaths and boardwalks that lead gliders around tidal lagoons and mangrove shoreline. Dolphins are often sighted not far from fishermen doing some fishing of their own. This tour offers Shade Trees, Sunshine and breathtaking Sunsets! Heading over the bridge, gliders will Segway onto World Famous Longboat Key and then around and back to Historic Bridge Street.
