The ladies that work in the optical center are disinterested in their job and customers. They are rude and not at all helpful. I had broken frames from there, and went in to buy a new pair of same frames and switch my lenses over and they told me those frames were discontinued and they could not get me a new pair, also they said they couldn't legally put my lenses in new frames because my prescription was a few months out of date. So I would need to make an appointment, get an exam, and buy all new glasses. Of course they were rude as hell while they told me this! I left, and looked online and found the exact frames online and ordered them (from Wal Mart online no less) and then took them to Costco and they popped the lenses in for me- for free with no hassle. Needless to say I won't be going back to wal mart optical any time soon
When I made my appointment for an eye exam, I specifically asked if my insurance was accepted. I was put on hold while the lady checked on it, she came back and assured me it was. Drove 90 miles for that exam only to be told my insurance was actually NOT accepted. Super disappointed with this LensCrafters.
After picking out frames I left being reassured that my optometrist would be contacted to obtain my lense prescription and that my glasses would be ready the following Monday. When I returned 7 days later, I learned that my name was not entered into the computer, nothing had been done to get my prescription and the frames were in a filing cabinet. Instead of apologizing, the supervisor explained how it was my fault not theirs. No effort was made to correct the mistake. Instead of with glasses, I left disappointed and astounded at the poor service.
