Attorney Stephanie Cagnet Myron has an extensive background in the evolving areas of Stalking and Cyberstalking. She leads an anti-stalking collaborative team which consists of victim advocates, attorneys, investigators and police officers throughout Palm Beach County. As the Director of the Palm Beach County Anti-Stalking Collaborative, Stephanie Cagnet Myron organizes and leads training seminars for private attorneys, prosecutors, victim advocates, investigators, law enforcement officers, and the general public to provide a better understandng of the complex legal issues involved in stalking and cyberstalking cases. She has also presented on the issues of stalking and cyberstalking at the Florida Coalition Against Domestic Violence (FCADV) Conference in Orlando, Florida. Attorney Stephanie Cagnet Myron organized and presented at the 2015 Regional Stalking Training Conference. Attorney Stephanie Cagnet Myron has also been invited to speak to numerous college students and high school students on the topics of Stalking, Cyberstalking, and Sexual Cyberharassment (Revenge Porn). Specific trainings on the issues of Cyberstalking and Revenge Porn; are designed to educate students and young professionals of the danger of sharing private photographs and images. There are devastating consequences when naked photographs are posted online without consent. The law in Florida now provides for both criminal and civil remedies when such actions occur. We represent our clients through both the criminal and civil process to help them seek justice. Attorney Stephanie Cagnet Myron is also and active member of the Domestic Violence Council of Palm Beach County and the Palm Beach County Sexual Assault Response Team (SART). Before you get to the hospital, you should avoid taking a shower, douching, eating, or changing your clothes. Bring an extra change of clothes in case your clothes contain critical evidence. You Have Options Even if you are not sure if you want to prosecute, you can have a limited forensic medical exam. The exam can help you sort out your feelings and decide whether you want to prosecute. Even if you are not sure you want to prosecute, it is important to gather the evidence so that you are prepared if you decide to go forward with your case.
