Beachway Therapy Center

After a near death crisis in my son's life, I searched the internet for a dual diagnosis treatment center for alcohol abuse and depression. I was looking for centers in another state and Beachway came up. Not realizing that it was in Florida, I called the number, then hung up when I realized it was not in our state. Thanks to Conner for calling me back and encouraging my son to leave his former environment and travel to Florida for treatment. Since entering the program my son has made tremendous progress in recovery from the issues that almost took his life.

This program gave me the support I needed, and all the activities were great. The Therapists encouraged me and helped me with some of my more specific needs. THey listened. They were also very understanding and knowledgable of the situation I was in. We got massages twice a week, acupuncture, physical therapy, had meditation groups as well as smaller groups that would help you the open and comfortable with sharing. The residence was very clean and well kept. There were 2 pools a volleyball net and a basketball goal. Also not to forget the time we spent at the beach and at the gym, and outside meetings for extra support. Beachway was a life changing experience for me. It taught me so much. Some of the people I met there will be friends for a lifetime.
