I stopped in on a Friday evening with no appointment. Juan was booked for the next few days. (Make an appointment for Juan) Ethan (Catrin) was available (once he was done with the hombre on the chair.)I took a chance with El Catrin and it was well worth it! The dude cuts solid. He also trimmed my beard and it came out great. The fair price of $25 for the cut and trim. They accepted cards which is great since I rarely carry cash. The shop is nice and clean, plenty of product to meet needs and the barbers are friendly. It's a very comfortable environment. I will definitely return.
Let me just say right away: this place is not for everybody. It's relentlessly hip in that "we don't care" way, which is a major turn off for a lot of folks. But I've found the stylist that I like and she's a blast (ask for Blu, but don't you dare take my place on Saturdays once a month!).Yeah, and it's a million bucks cheaper than the stylist you're going to ... and you don't have to feel like you're going to Fantastic Sams in the process. But for those of you who need a glam salon, loads of attention or something a little more traditional ... this isn't the place for you.
I'm easy to please when it comes to haircuts. After going unnoticed for several minutes, I was finally seated and asked what I wanted. I didn't quite get the cut I asked for because the barber did not really understand me. I was left with hair all over me and wet hair without brush down or blow dry to clean me off. She just looked at me and said "that's it". Never going back.
Visited this barbershop after having a bad experience at another local shop. The atmosphere here is very inviting. The free parking is a plus and I also liked the free beverage they offered me. My haircut was spot on to what I asked for. My barber was very clean and organized as well. After my cut I received a quick hair product tutorial. These guys are the truth. Check them out !!
After giving my boys mediocre haircuts for a year and trying so many other shops around Silverlake, I am so happy I found Vinny's! Great $20 kids' cuts and I get to listen to Bad Religion while I wait? Yes and hell yes. Fausto and Arya cut their hair and it always looks fantastic. Online booking was quick and easy. Plus everyone was nice and welcoming. The best!
Got my haircut this past Saturday at this baber shop. Received a good haircut. Paid only $6. Bought some gel for cheap too. The lady barber was nice and spoke very good English. Would recommend to anyone that is tired of barber shops that stink like hair chemicals. This is truly a breathe of fresh air.
I've been a client of Ike and Thomas for fifteen years. Professionals they are and the classic, old school environment keeps me connected to the community. My wife tells me that I look younger each time I get a cut from Chief's. Thanks guys.Bili Redd
You feel instantly cooler walking into this place, and by the time you're done, you'll probably look cooler, too. Great spot to take the kiddos. No appointment needed if you're not picky about which stylist you get, and the wait is never too long.
chris has been cutting all my boyz hair since they were 2 years old n' counting, no hangin out, no smokin, no cursing, free wifi, they got the big screens up in there, family oriented and best of all, updated on all the latest trendz.
I went in very skeptical because it was my first time and since its right by my house, I decided to give it a try. I loved my haircut and they were very nice, definitely going back!
