Almar properties is possibly the worst rental agency I have ever worked with in northwest Ohio. Two years in a row, I found housing I was interested in, and then the properties were rented to others, despite being told I was first on the list, and there were no other applicants. Last year this happened and I had already submitted my application and application fee! They then decided to rent the home to someone who did not have a pet, despite informing me that that specific rental was pet-friendly. This year, I was scheduled to go see a home, told no one else had applied yet, and was called back the day before the viewing and told that it had already been rented. I will never reach out to this company again, and I advise others not to either!

They asked us to put a partial deposit down on a rental and decided not to take it and now they are refusing to refund our partial deposit until someone else rents the place
